This research aims to investigate the impact of school efficiency on student development and sheds light on the way that top-universities enhance students’ knowledge, skills, health, and psychological development. Through interviewing and sending online questionnaires to over 2000 students from 5 top universities in Vietnam based on Ranking Web of Universities, the research results suggest the significant influence of school-related factors, student demographic factors, and students’ personality on student development. Specifically, teaching quality has a positive relationship with all dependent variables except for psychosocial development. The results also illustrate that school facilities positively relate to students’ satisfaction but negatively associate with their academic performance. Additionally, the research points out that boys have better psychological, mental, and physical development than girls do. At the same time, students with lower schoolyear tend to have a higher level of studying satisfaction. Furthermore, the impact of personality, including openness, conscientiousness, and extraversion, on student development is remarkable due to their significant positive connections with all five dependent variables. On the other hand, agreeable students appear to have less psychological development than those in other personality groups.

The study identified factors affecting the level of nursing home activity worker’s requirements fulfillment in Vietnam. A quantitative survey was conducted amongst 336 elderly people in Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, Vietnam. Through the multiple linear regression, the study showed four factors that had significant effects on the level of social worker's requirements fulfillment, including (i) Self-belief in ability, (ii) Ability to create trust, (iii) Emotional expression, (iv) Relationship building skill with elderly residents. The results show that the skills to build relationships with the elderly are most appreciated. On this basis, the study offers some meaningful solutions to enhance the level of requirements fulfillment of social workers when providing support services to the elderly in Vietnam in the near future.

This study aims to examine the factors affecting public investment results in educational institutions in Vietnam. The study uses exploratory factor analysis (EFA) as well as regression estimate to determine the factors. The results show that factors affecting public investment results include public investment management, human resources to carry out public investment activities and to organize public investment, economic conditions, legal policies and natural conditions. These factors have different levels of influence on the results of public investment in educational institutions in Vietnam. From the results of that study, the authors propose recommendations to enhance the results of public investment activities at educational institutions in Vietnam.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of factors that influence entrepreneurial intention among tourism undergraduate students in Vietnam. A research framework based on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) was proposed to understand the relationship between the TPB factors and entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention was also investigated. A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 388 tourism undergraduate students at different universities across Vietnam. The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method was utilized to test the hypotheses of this research. The study findings show that subjective norms (SN), attitude toward entrepreneurship (AE), perceived behavioral control (PBC) and entrepreneurship education (EE) had direct effects on entrepreneurial intention (EI); however, perceived behavioral control had the strongest influence on entrepreneurial intention. The findings provide educators with insights into how to promote entrepreneurship activities among tourism undergraduate students in Vietnam through educational programs and training.

The study identified factors affecting the behavior of literature learning of secondary high school students in Vietnam. To achieve this goal, in this study we surveyed 300 students currently studying at two secondary schools in Son La province and Hanoi city of Vietnam. The analysis of multivariate linear regression models showed that 5 out of 12 factors had a strong influence on literature learning behavior of secondary high school students, including (i) Gender, (ii) Learning motivation, (iii) Student living place, (iv) Academic performance, (v) Teacher's teaching method. On this basis, the study proposes several positive solutions to improve the efficiency of the literature learning of secondary high school students in the future.

This study aims to investigate the effects of job-related stressors and individual-related stressors on employee motivation, job satisfaction and employee loyalty in the context of Vietnam hospitality industry. Data were collected by surveying 595 employees including Hotel/Restaurant receptionist, low-level manager (shift/group leader, supervisor, etc.) and Middle level and high ranked manager (Chief/deputy chief of department, general manager, director, etc.) from medium to large Hotels and Restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, the collected data was analyzed by employing partial least squares (PLS) technique. The results show that individual-related stressors positively and directly affect employee motivation, job satisfaction and employee loyalty while job-related stressors have a positive direct effect on employee motivation but indirectly affect job satisfaction and employee loyalty. This study provides critical contributions to the research field of the Hospitality industry as well as suggests some important recommendations for improving employee motivation, job satisfaction and employee loyalty in the context of Vietnam Hospitality.

The objective of this paper is to assess the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on organizational commitment (OC) through organizational trust and organizational identification in Vietnamese pharmaceutical enterprises. The survey results are based on 289 Vietnamese pharmaceutical enterprises, and the results show that CSR activities and policies had a positive impact on organization trust in the organization and positively impact on organizational identification and organizational commitment. Next, the study also conducts a mediate role of organizational trust and organizational identification. The testing results show that organizational trust and organizational identification had a comprehensive mediate role on the relationship between CSR and OC in Vietnamese pharmaceutical enterprises.

The objective of this study is to focus on analyzing the determinants of rural households' migration decisions. The study used data of 385 surveyed samples collected in Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province. The study uses logistic regression to determine the factors affecting the rural households. We have found some important factors affecting household migration decisions, including household living standards, unemployment, lack of arable land, and production. The study offers some meaningful solutions to promote the positivity of the current migration problem in Trieu Son district.

The study identified factors affecting the income of migrant households in Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province. To achieve this goal, in this study we surveyed 385 migrant households in the study area. The analysis of the multivariate linear regression model has identified three factors that have significant impacts on household income, including (i) the number of migrants, (ii) Number of activities income generation activities, (iii) Destination of migrants. On this basis, the study offers some meaningful solutions to improve income and ensure the lives of migrant households in Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province in the near future.

The purpose of this paper is to explore factors affecting career success of graduate students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Vietnam. By employing mixed research method with qualitative and quantitative techniques, we first conducted in-depth interview with 20 graduate students to find out factors that can affect their career success, and then quantitative data was collected with a survey of 436 graduate students in Vietnam. We employ Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS 3.2 software to analyze the collected data. The finding suggests that individual competences, working experience, personal networks and organizational structure were crucial factors that influence objective career success, while individual aspirations and personal networks were important factors for subjective career success. The paper provides important implications for organizations and educational institutions to enhance career success of their workers.
