This research aims to analyze and develop a theoretical framework, built with a performance model influenced by the work environment and entrepreneurial orientation, and mediated by organizational commitment. This research used a quantitative approach as the methodology. The survey was distributed using a questionnaire instrument. The population in this study were 6,708 MSME owners in Brebes Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, and the sample in this study were 377 MSME owners, which was determined using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique in this research used a non-random sampling with proportional sampling. Simultaneously, the statistical method used to test the hypotheses in this study is a multivariate Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Based on the results of statistical tests, it can be known partially that 1) Work environment has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, 2) Entrepreneurial orientation has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, 3) Organizational commitment has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. 4) Work environment has a significant effect on organizational commitment, 5) Entrepreneurial orientation has a significant effect on organizational commitment, 6) Work environment has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs through organizational commitment, and 7) Entrepreneurial orientation has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs through organizational commitment. The novelty in this study is that the empirically constructed model of organizational commitment has proven to be significant as a mediation of the work environment and entrepreneurial orientation towards performance. with the strongest influence of work environment and entrepreneurial orientation on organizational commitment.

The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine whether the Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) and organizational culture can improve employee performance, (2) To conduct further research on employee performance by elaborating and analyzing variables that can affect work engagement, among others: members of the leadership and organizational culture. This research was conducted at a Telecommunication Company in Makassar, South Sulawesi with a sample size of 93 people. The analysis model used to determine the influence between variables was a structural model with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. In this study it was found that 1. LMX had no significant effect on job involvement. 2. LMX had no significant effect on worker performance. 3. Organizational culture had a significant effect on work engagement. 4. Organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance, 5. Work management had no significant effect on employee performance. Leaders need to build high-level LMX relationships, equip workers with skills, increase employee professionalism and provide opportunities for employees, help solve the difficulties they face related to assigned tasks and make employees as friends so that they can increase their engagement and performance.

Small medium enterprises (SMEs) hold 98.5% of businesses and serve as economy backbone in Malaysia. However, the global competitiveness of Malaysia in innovation has been declined recently. The declining innovation index has been reflected a low level of innovation in SMEs. This study serves as one of the pioneer studies conducted to foster the achievement of Malaysia Master Plan (2012-2020), focusing on a fresh approach to bring SMEs to the next level through innovation. The study aims to examine which innovation factors affect innovation performance, as there are relatively little empirical evidences in previous researches and very little innovative activities in SMEs Malaysia. This study uses quantitative research methodology, 300 sample sets have been collected from Malaysia SMEs and the data was analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). All proposed factors in this study (absorptive capacity, internal R&D collaboration and knowledge sharing) are significantly affect innovation performance, except technology transfer. The findings of this study provide theoretical contribution and practical contribution for small medium enterprise, stakeholder, academic institution, policy makers as well as a reference for government to help SME achieve higher innovation.

This study aims to: 1) describe market orientation, entrepreneurship orientation, innovation, mixed marketing and marketing performance, 2) analyze the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurship orientation on innovation, the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurship orientation on the mixed marketing, the influence of market orientation and entrepreneurship orientation on marketing performance. The study is a causality descriptive study to conduct clarity of the correlation and the influence of cause and effect among variables. The analysis technique is statistics descriptive and SEM. This study aims to examine the causal relationship between the variables of business competitiveness development, learning orientation, entrepreneurial commitment, and business performance of the silk industry in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The population in this study were all small scale silk industry entrepreneurs, totaling 5,137 businesses spread over 14 districts in Wajo Regency. The size of the research sample based on the Krejcie and Morgan tables is 357. The data analysis technique uses a structural equation model. The results of the analysis show that the development of business competitiveness and learning orientation partially has a significant effect on entrepreneurial commitment. The development of business competitiveness does not have a significant effect on business performance but learning orientation has a significant effect on business performance. Furthermore, the development of business competitiveness and learning orientation has an indirect effect on business performance through entrepreneurial commitment. The research suggestion is that business development that is oriented towards business performance is not sufficient only based on strengthening knowledge and skills but the main thing is related to the development of the personality of the business actor.

This study aims to validate the dimensions of sharia experience quality and to determine the effect of sharia experience quality on customer loyalty by customer satisfaction as mediation variable. The sample technique of this study was a purposive sampling of 150 respondents who conducted financing at Islamic banks. SEM-PLS is used to test hypotheses. The results of the second order evaluation show that integration quality, physical environment quality, outcome quality, compliance sharia knowledge, and responsive religious experience had strong effects on sharia experience quality. Sharia experience quality had a significant effect on customer loyalty and customer satisfaction as a partial mediation of sharia experience quality on customer loyalty.

Problems related to emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment in the world of education, especially lecturers in providing services for students is relevant in the analysis for the sustainability of the quality of an institution. Thus, this study aims to analyze the increase in organizational commitment in Indonesia by involving 371 lecturers from 19 universities in Bandung. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS was employed in selecting the sample. The results explain emotional intelligence had positive effects on organizational citizenship behavior and on organizational commitment, and job satisfaction had positive effects on organizational citizen-ship behavior and on organizational commitment. Organizational citizenship behavior was empirically proven to have a positive effect on organizational commitment. In examining the mediating variable, the results show that emotional intelligence positively influenced the or-ganizational commitment through organizational citizenship, and that job satisfaction had a positive effect on organizational commitment through organizational citizenship behavior as a mediating variable.

The study aims at measuring the impact of human resources and information systems strategies on the success of information systems in the industrial companies operating in the Amman stock exchange. The study sample was made up of accounting and finance departments for these companies. The initial data were collected through a questionnaire that designed for this purpose. The results have confirmed a strong impact of information systems strategies on the information systems success. As well, the results have confirmed the impact of information systems strategies on human resources strategies. The study also has proved that human resources strategies have maintained a weak effect on the success of information systems. The study recommends the researchers in this field to re-study this subject by modifying the measuring variables methods, and study other economic sectors.

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of employee happiness in the effect of the quality of work-life on employee intention to quit. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed regarding prior related works. It was administered to a sample consisted of 122 employees selected from four fast-food restaurants in Jordan. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modelling via Smart-PLS3; the results revealed that the quality of life had significant direct effects on both employee happiness and employee intention to quit. The first effect was positive, while the second was negative. Employee happiness had a significant impact on employee intention to quit. Consequently, the results indicated that employee happiness played a significant mediating role in the effect of the quality of work-life on employee intention to quit. It was concluded that the quality of work-life is not enough to reduce employee intention to quit, which means that organization should pay great attention to employee happiness to ensure the positive effect of the quality of life and to reduce employee intention to quit.

This research investigates the effect of business continuity management and technology acceptance models towards performance of lecturers moderated by servant leadership. The research respondents were 86 Halmahera University lecturers. The research method used was quantitative method by examining the effect of moderation and the direct effect by the method of interaction. The model was tested with structural equation modeling approach by using Smart PLS software. The results proved that servant leadership was able to influence lecturer performance. Servant leadership could also moderate the effect of business continuity management towards lecturer performance. However, business continuity management and technology acceptance models did not affect lecturer performance independently. Servant leadership also failed to moderate the effect of the technology acceptance model towards lecturer performance. This study recommends that servant leadership be applied at all levels of leadership because of the very important role in triggering lecturer performance. The application of servant leadership can also be combined with business continuity management since the interaction between of the two can improve lecturer performance.
