This research aims to investigate the impact of digital transformation on the operational efficiency, customer experience, competitive advantage, organizational performance, and risk management in Jordanian Islamic banks. A descriptive analytical method was used, collecting primary data from a survey of 68 employees across four Islamic banks. Statistical tools, including linear regression and correlation, were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that digital transformation significantly influences the operational efficiency, competitive advantage, customer experience, organizational performance, and risk management of Islamic banks at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. While digital transformation generally enhanced operational outcomes and customer experience, it also increased exposure to risks such as electronic attacks, fraud, and privacy concerns. The results highlight the importance of integrating digital transformation in Islamic banking while employing robust risk management strategies. These findings provide insights for policymakers, bank managers, and researchers in formulating strategic initiatives for digital transformation in the banking sector. The research contributes to the literature by focusing on the role of digital transformation in Islamic banking, a less-explored area in academic studies. This research also presents valuable implications for practice, specifically for banks and regulators to balance the potential of digital transformation with the associated risks.

This research adopts a contingency theory approach to explore the role of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a performance management system. Contingencies, including perceived environmental uncertainty and business strategy, are examined to understand their impact on BSC implementation and organizational performance, with a specific focus on the mediating role of the BSC. Conducting a survey among Jordanian manufacturers, the research gathered 312 usable responses out of 400 questionnaires, achieving a response rate of 78%. Theoretically, this study's framework contributed to management accounting literature by analyzing the impact of perceived environmental uncertainty and business strategy on BSC implementation. The study's findings will help understand the factors that could influence Jordanian manufacturing companies' BSC implementation. This study will also help businesses understand why they need to use BSC to get the right information for making decisions and improve the performance of their organizations.

This study investigates the impact of supply chain agility on supply chain performance in Jordan’s healthcare settings. The moderation role of human capital in this relationship was also investigated. This study adopted a quantitative approach and utilized an online questionnaire to collect data from 139 managers at different levels in various hospitals in Jordan. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was used for data analysis. The results of hypothesis testing using multivariate regression analysis showed that human capital has a positive and statistically significant impact on supply chain performance and supply chain agility. Human capital has been identified as an important organizational resource that can result in favorable performance. Such an organizational resource may also help healthcare institutions obtain a competitive edge by responding to patients’ treatment, which is urgently required.

Universities seek out of its keenness to preserve the environment and to enhance its environmental performance, by paying attention to social responsibility, to enhance its reputation in society. The current study examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental performance (EP) through the moderating role of green human resources (GHR) and green climate (GC). The study collected data from 270 employees in private universities in Jordan. PLS4 was applied to analyze data and test the hypotheses. The results showed that CSR has a positive impact on EP. Also, the results showed that GHR and GC moderate the relationship between CSR and EP. Future research recommendations and study limitations are also provided.

This study aimed to clarify the relationship between profitability, investment opportunities, and sustainable profits for industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange. The population consisted of all 53 industrial companies on the Exchange in 2022. Financial data was obtained for the period 2018-2022, including metrics on investment opportunities and profitability. Using statistical analysis like regression testing, we assessed the data to test hypotheses and reveal insights. Existing research presents mixed findings; some studies suggest a positive link between investment chances and financial performance and profit durability, while others make the opposite claim. Our results contribute uniquely to this ongoing debate by providing statistical evidence that investment opportunities have a robust, positive impact on profit sustainability. Additionally, profitability strongly influences both investment opportunity indicators and profit sustainability for these industrial companies. These conclusions assist stakeholders in justifying financial acquisitions and allocating capital to potential investments. The findings also aid in shaping short and long-term investment approaches aligned with company goals and policies. This can increase value creation for shareholders by enhancing profitability and sustaining profits over time. In summary, by quantitatively demonstrating the interconnected nature of profitability, investment opportunities and durable profits, this study equips decision makers to make informed strategic choices that promote growth and sustainability. The analysis methods and results add valuable insights to academic and practical understanding of these relationships within Jordan's industrial sector.

The examination of accounting practices within the corporate supply chain is recognized as a crucial workplace concern, employing a bibliometric survey approach. This study seeks to elucidate the correlation between legal compliance and financial integrity within accounting practices in the corporate supply chain. The findings are derived from a bibliometric analysis. Furthermore, the analysis reveals an increasing trend in publications related to the study's keywords over the past decade. Theoretical and practical implications are explored and discussed.

The objective of this research was to look at how firm attributes like age, size, as well as profitability affected the number of dividends paid. It also looked at how institutional ownership affected the connection between all these corporate characteristics as well as dividend payments as a moderating factor. A sample of forty publicly traded industrial businesses that were listed between 2016 and 2020 on the stock exchange in Amman were included in the research. The research analyzed the variables utilizing acceptable descriptive statistical techniques and used a model of multiple regression to test its predictions. The study's conclusions demonstrated that a company's size, years of existence, and income all positively affect dividend payments. Additionally, it found that corporate ownership had a strong correlation with dividend influence, as did both firm size as well as profitability. On the other hand, it discovered a negative correlation between the age of the firm as well as institutional ownership in terms of dividend effect. The research concludes with a proposal that Jordanian industrial enterprises should take size, years of operation, and profitability into account when determining how much dividend to pay out, acknowledging their important roles as well as effects on dividend distribution.

The present research analyzes the short and long run relationship between Energy Consumption, Economic growth, and Carbon Dioxide emissions in Jordan. The study employs two (2) models: 1: Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) bound testing approach and 2: Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) Granger causality and impulse response function. The results reveal that energy consumption has a positive impact on carbon dioxide emissions and in turn carbon dioxide emissions have a positive link to economic growth. Further, the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis is tested, and it reveals that the EKC hypothesis is validated in the case of Jordan since the carbon dioxide emissions show a significant impact on economic growth in the short and long run. The study provides important results for future researchers and government policy makers.

The current study's primary goal is to ascertain the impact of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior as being affected by emotional intelligence as the mediating variable. This descriptive study was applied to the academic staff of private and public universities. The questionnaire was used for data collection. The dimensions of servant leadership (SL) were nine, the dimensions of emotional intelligence were nine while five dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior were used and collected from literature review. The questionnaire was distributed to 304 of the academic staff. The findings indicate a moderate degree of the servant leadership practice. Also, the evaluation of organizational citizenship behavior practice and emotional intelligence was negative in academic institutions. The results showed that servant leadership affects positively organizational citizenship behavior using emotional intelligence as a mediator. Servant leadership is very important in higher educational organizations when followed properly and affects organizational citizenship behavior by considering the emotional aspects of the academic staff.

Enhancing employee loyalty to the company is essential to maximize corporate ability and achieve respective goals, as employees are the most valuable resource. Hence, managing human resources in organizations is key to achieving contemporary business success. The current study aims to assess the impact of human resource management practices (HRM) on organizational performance with employee engagement as a potential mediator. This study was conducted on Jordanian tourism projects. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed with 237 returned. The data were analyzed through the partial least squares (PLS) software. Resultantly, performance appraisal and employee engagement significantly and positively impacted organizational performance. Recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal also significantly and positively impacted employee engagement. Employee engagement significantly mediated the impact of performance appraisal on recruitment, selection, and compensation with organizational performance.
