Most global studies have, to a greater extent, underscored the importance of Total Quality Management (TQM) practices and some marketing aspects concerning the organizational performance. Most studies have focused on establishing the level to which TQM practices influence customer satisfaction and not the whole organization. There is also little evidence on how marketing practices influence organizational performance. This study therefore seeks to assess the impact of TQM practices and marketing on organizational performance. Data was collected from a sample size of 289 respondents who were employees of the different manufacturing industries in Saudi Arabia. Data was analyzed using SPSS and Pearson’s rank correlation coefficient was used to establish the relationship between study variables. The study findings confirmed the presence of a relationship between TQM practices and organizational performance. Similarly, there was a positive relationship between marketing practices and organizational performance. The study concluded that the TQM practices and marketing are great influencers of quality hence should always be applied in organizations.

Saudi Arabia is attempting to structurally transform itself to move away from its dependence on oil. Towards this, its education sector plays an important role. It provides the economy with the needed graduates. It is highly desirable that the education sector of the country attains and maintains quality standards. This study identifies the three dimensions of teaching staff, administrative staff and systems towards the Total Quality Management in a University setting. The study finds a significant difference between the sample respondents over the satisfaction with the faculty, staff, and systems. Further, the study uses the method of logistic regression to analyze the responses of University students’ perspectives of quality. The results indicate that the odds of being satisfied with the University are the highest if the students are satisfied with the systems. It followed by faculty and then the non-teaching staff. Improving the quality of faculty, staff, and systems in education services is needed to achieve the structural transformation desired by the country.

The study focused on examining the social customer relationship management impacts on the customer loyalty of five-star hotels in Saudi Arabia. Customer relationship management included the dimensions of customer value, long-term partnership with the customer, customer knowledge, reliance on technology, trust, and social media communication. The study population consists of the customers of five-star hotels in Saudi Arabia. A convenience sample was taken from 500 customers, while the validly retrieved responses were 413. A quantitative approach was conducted in statistical analysis through SPSS and AMOS software. The study demonstrated that social customer relationship management dimensions are impacting the customer loyalty of five-star hotels in Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, the recommendations centered on the establishment of a complaints handling unit to speed up service, identify problems, identify the sites of deficiencies, and take the necessary and appropriate solutions to these problems.

The main objective was to examine the impact of social norms, habits, and perceived behavioral control towards intention and its impact on energy-saving behavior. Also, the direct effects of habits and perceived behavioral control were examined towards energy-saving behavior. The target population was based on citizens of Saudi Arabia while the data collection was conducted using a quantitative approach. The purposive sampling was used, and data was analyzed using PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 3.2.8. The results show that habits had insignificant impact on energy-saving behavior. The habits had a significant impact on intention. The intention had an impact on energy-saving behavior. The perceived behavioral control had an impact on intention. The social norms had an impact on intention. We recommend that people should enhance their perceived behavioral control by believing on their attitude and feelings towards developing positive intentions that further leads towards energy saving behavior.

The main objective of this research is to examine the effect of environmental concern, subjective environmental knowledge towards green purchasing intentions. Also, this study has examined the moderation role of green skepticism towards these relationships. The population of this research is consumers of green purchasing in Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing industry. The quantitative approach using convenience sampling has been used for data collection. The PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 3.2.8 was used. Environmental concern has a significantly positive effect on green purchasing intention while significantly negative effect on subjective environmental knowledge and lastly, subjective environmental knowledge has significantly positive effect on green purchasing intention. Furthermore, green skepticism does not moderate the effect of subjective environmental knowledge on green purchasing intention and the effect of environmental concern on subjective environmental knowledge; however, green skepticism significantly decreases the effect of environmental concern on green purchase intention. The managers are recommended to provide environmental programs towards consumers that can increase their environmental concerns and lead to gaining proper knowledge and awareness.

Cloud computing (CC) has been used in several industries and domains. However, the use of CC in governmental organization is still limited. The purpose of this study is to examine the CC usage among governmental organizations in Saudi Arabia. The population of this study are Information technology (IT) professionals working for governmental organizations in Saudi Arabia. Purposive sampling was used to collect the data from the respondents. The questionnaire was distributed, and 211 valid responses were collected. The analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 4.0. The findings showed that perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), external influence, security but not privacy have significant effects on CC usage. The findings also showed that technological readiness moderated the effect of PU, external influence, and security on CC usage. Decision makers are recommended to enhance the perception of the benefit of CC and conduct more training courses to ease the usage of CC.

This study examines two models of knowledge sharing. Model 1 investigates the association of willingness to share knowledge, ability to share knowledge and knowledge sharing. Model 2 tests the individual’s effectiveness as an integration term of willingness to share and ability to share with knowledge sharing. The final sample of this study consists of 204 accounting students at Umm Al-Gura University for the academic year 2013/2014. Using a survey-based methodology, the multiple regression of Model 1 shows that the willingness to share and the ability to share knowledge are associated positively with knowledge sharing. In addition, the result of the simple regression of Model 2 illustrates that individual’s effectiveness was positively associated with knowledge sharing. The results of this study are useful for educational policy makers in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere, as there is an opportunity of enhancing the knowledge sharing in the educational context.

In this competitive environment for the survival of the organization, it is essential to retain competent workforce, and keep them well aligned with organizational objectives. Turnover of employees creates panic situation and unnecessary burden of high recruitment cost. The present study identifies the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention. The survey of 119 employees was conducted in Saudi Arabia. The study found no significant relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention. Negative correlation was found between turnover intention with respect to age and experience of employees. It clearly states that as the employees gain experience, their turnover intent decreases. Age is also an important factor of turnover intention. It was found that older employees showed less turnover intent in comparison to younger employees. The results will provide insights to organization for making effective strategies to keep employees embedded with their jobs and help in reducing turnover intent and actual turnover.

Knowledge is considered the most crucial component for an organization to attain competitiveness. A strong emphasis on explicit knowledge rather than on tacit knowledge (TK) has been observed in information and communication technologies. A change has placed TK in the forefront of the study of organizational learning (OL) and financial performance (FP). These establishments innovate through the transformation of learning, while creating appro-priate methods that respond to shifting environments. On the other hand, FP is the target of any establishment; growth and profitability are measured as essential factors for a firm’s exist-ence and survival. Several studies have already highlighted the importance of TK, but the im-pact of TK remains unclear. Moreover, there is no such study on developing countries, such as Saudi Arabia, that are striving to transform the economic structure into a knowledge-based economy. To fill these gaps, this study explores how TK and OL enhance FP. A sample of 168 questionnaires from Saudi’s service sector was analyzed using AMOS 26 to test the relation-ships among TK, OL, and FP using structural equation modelling (SEM). Also, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to confirm the validity of the measurement model, showing a reliable fit for the data collected in Saudi Arabia’s service sector. The SEM results confirmed that TK and OL are crucial elements of knowledge management (KM). TK and OL also gen-erate new systems of continual change, leading to maximized organizational FP. This study develops TK as a quantifiable measure and connects this to organizational performance. The conclusion offers suggestions for management, limitations, and procedures for future research in this area.

This paper examines the relationship between the presence of the foreign chief executive officer (CEO) as a director of a firm and firm performance in Saudi Arabia. Performance is measured in terms of a business’ profitability proxy, return on assets (ROA), and the market performance measure, Tobin’s Q. Herein, we use a sample of non-financial companies that have been listed in Saudi Arabia between 2005 and 2016. The results reveal that firms managed by a local CEO outperform firms helmed by their foreign counterparts. They also support the notion that the success of managing directors in emerging markets requires cultural and intercultural skills.
