In the dynamic landscape of digital enterprises, cybersecurity has emerged as a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness. This study delves into the intricate realm of cybersecurity investment within ASEAN organizations, exploring the key facets that drive decision-making in this domain. Using a quantitative approach through structural equation modeling (SEM), we conducted an in-depth analysis based on a sample of 419 enterprises meeting cybersecurity criteria. Our findings reveal that cybersecurity strategy, financial considerations, and institutional and regulatory conditions are the primary factors influencing cybersecurity investments in the ASEAN region. In particular, financial resources emerged as the most critical determinant, underscoring the importance of adequate funding to address evolving cyber threats. Furthermore, our study highlights the crucial role of institutional and regulatory frameworks in shaping investment behavior, indicating a heightened awareness among firms regarding compliance with legal requirements. By unpacking these dynamics, our research provides deep insights into the intricate interplay of factors shaping cybersecurity investments in ASEAN organizations. This study contributes to the discourse by emphasizing the imperative nature of understanding the impact of risk aversion, organizational structures, and long-term practices on cybersecurity resilience. The implications of our findings extend to policy making, innovation, and future research directions in the cybersecurity domain, offering valuable insights to improve cybersecurity preparedness and resilience against evolving cyber threats.

In today's rapidly changing business environment, companies need to be dynamic, adapting their internal processes to respond effectively to external changes. Information Technology has become crucial for businesses to enhance their ability to manage and adapt to change. This study examines East Java manufacturing companies that have heavily invested in sustainable IT systems to enhance their supply chain responsiveness and resilience through improved purchasing strategies and production flexibility. The study collected data from companies that had implemented IT for at least three years, with respondents being permanent employees with a minimum of two years' experience. Analysis of 108 survey responses using SmartPLS 4 revealed significant impacts of IT implementation on purchasing strategy (0.610), production flexibility (0.363), and supply chain responsiveness (0.164). Furthermore, purchasing strategy influenced production flexibility (0.367), supply chain responsiveness (0.348), and resilience (0.166). Production flexibility also affected supply chain responsiveness (0.348) and resilience (0.343), while responsiveness impacted resilience by 0.306. These findings provide a practical contribution for functional managers in companies regarding the importance of IT investment in developing effective purchasing, production, and marketing strategies to meet market demands swiftly. The research contributes to supply chain strategy and resilience theory while highlighting the significance of strong collaboration with external partners for top management.

Supply chains are vulnerable to various disruption risks that can adversely affect their overall performance and objectives. This study addresses the challenge of designing a resilient and environmentally sustainable mixed open and closed-loop supply chain network that can withstand both operational and disruption risks. The research employs a bi-objective stochastic mathematical model to examine the balance between environmental sustainability and profitability within the SC. To mitigate the impact of disruptions, several resilience strategies are incorporated into the model, significantly reducing their adverse effects. Due to the inherent complexity of the problem, the study introduces a novel hybrid metaheuristic algorithm that combines ant colony optimization with teaching and learning-based optimization, named ACO-TLBO. Additionally, two other enhanced hybrid metaheuristics are proposed. The performance of these solution methods is assessed through various test problems, using specific performance metrics for comparison. Results reveal that the ACO-TLBO algorithm excels in generating high-quality, non-dominated solutions. The model's practical applicability is demonstrated through a case study in the tire industry, validating its effectiveness. The findings indicate that the proposed resilience strategies are crucial for minimizing the negative impacts of disruptions on SC objectives. Furthermore, the results underscore the importance of resilience in maintaining both sustainability and profitability within supply chains.

The company always tries to improve competitiveness by improving company performance. Using upgraded digital technology makes it easier for internal and external companies to determine business strategies quickly and precisely. This study surveyed expedition companies in East Java, as many as 104 companies with the criteria of having a transportation fleet. Data collection using questionnaires and dissemination in collaboration with the Association of Express Delivery Service Companies, Post and Logistics Indonesia (ASPERINDO). Research respondents consist of employees or unit leaders who are competent in the substance of the survey. Data analysis uses the partial least square (PLS) method. The results showed that digital technology positively and significantly impacts supply chain collaboration, inventory management, and supply chain resilience. The company's ability to build supply chain collaboration impacts improving inventory management optimization, supply chain resilience, and supply chain performance. Furthermore, inventory management with the ability to control inventory well and on-time delivery does not impact supply chain resilience. However, good inventory management has a positive impact on supply chain performance. Likewise, shipping companies, by increasing supply chain resilience, have an impact on supply chain performance. The results of this study contribute to the theory of supply chain management and resource-based view. The practical contribution enlightens the middle and top management on the importance of digital technology with the suitability of investment and benefits obtained in improving supply chain performance.

The study explores the combined influence of AI technology, supply chain collaboration, and information sharing on supply chain resilience. An integrated study model was developed and tested via smartPLS using a purposive sample of 542 respondents across different industries, to understand how information sharing mediates the collective impact of AI technology and collaborative practices on supply chain resilience. The experimental results demonstrate that AI technology paves the way for timely information and insights generation, which develops collaborative relationships among supply chain partners, facilitates trust and transparency, and thereby, information sharing to exchange pertinent data and insights across the supply chain network. The data were collected by surveying 542 managers from various industries and analyzed using SmartPLS. Relationships among technology adoption, supply chain collaboration, information sharing, and supply chain resilience were investigated. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to observe the direct and mediating effects of information sharing between technology adoption, supply chain collaboration, and supply chain resilience. This study implies that practical information-sharing activities are essential for achieving supply chain resilience amid unpredictability and disturbances in solid market environments. It presents how technology adoption and supply chain collaboration are crucial to supply chain resilience. Information sharing, however, is shown to be an essential mediator, as clear communication and knowledge exchange amongst supply chain partners are fundamentally important in achieving supply chain resilience. Organizations need to invest in AI-driven technologies and develop collaborative ties with their supply chains to be resilient. This paper constitutes a valuable study of the primary drivers of supply chain resilience. It offers implications that organizations can use to persist and grow in the current ambiguous business setting.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of supply chain management, the advent of the metaverse presents a novel frontier with significant potential for enhancing operational effectiveness and excellence. This study aims to examine the effect of metaverse adoption on various dimensions of the supply chain, including resilience, agility, flexibility, and performance. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, the research analyzes survey data from a significant sample size of 737 organizations that have adopted metaverse technology into their supply chain operations. The employment of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) offers a comprehensive understanding of the metaverse's role in enhancing the dynamism and efficiency of supply chains. This study contributes to the emerging field of digital transformation in supply chain management by providing empirical evidence on the effectiveness of metaverse technology. It bridges the gap in literature regarding the practical application of advanced digital solutions in enhancing supply chain operations and sets a foundation for future research in this area.

Although the relationship between resilience and career success has been well documented, very few studies relate these variables in developing economies, and especially in entrepreneurship in Nigeria. Additionally, how commitment actually shapes this relationship is conspicuously neglected. This empirical investigation was aimed at examining the influence of entrepreneurial career resilience on the three facets of entrepreneurial career success, i.e. career satisfaction, perceived career achievement and perceived financial attainment through the mediating role of entrepreneurial career commitment. The study used cross sectional data approach to collect data from 390 active entrepre-neurs. The participants were selected using purposive sampling technique. PLS-SEM statistical software (Smart-PLS 3) was used to test the formulated hypotheses. The findings suggested that; entrepreneurial career resilience was a positive predictor of the career satisfaction and perceived ca-reer achievement but it did not predict perceived financial attainment; that, entrepreneurial career resilience predicted entrepreneurial career commitment; that, entrepreneurial career commitment predicted career satisfaction, perceived career achievement and perceived financial attainment. Moreover, entrepreneurial career commitment significantly influenced the relationships of entrepreneurial career resilience and the two facets of entrepreneurial career success.

Resilience is one of the constructs which received less attention in the contemporary entrepreneurial literature. This paper explored the relationships among social capital, commitment and career resilience of entrepreneurs in Northern Nigeria. 576 active entrepreneurs were selected to participate in this study using cluster sampling approach and were served with questionnaires of which 390, representing 68% response, were retrieved. The data were analyzed using Smart-PLS 3 software of Partial Lease Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings suggest that bonding social capital influenced both career commitment as well as career resilience, but bridging did not. In addition, career commitment mediated the relationship between bonding social capital and career resilience, but did not mediate the relationship between bridging social capital and career resilience. Theoretical, practical and methodological implications were also provided.

Technological developments are increasingly sophisticated, so micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) must maintain their business through digital markets. The main problem faced by MSMEs in Aceh province is the lack of use of social media as a medium for promoting or selling products online. Thus, this study analyzes the MSMEs' product marketing model, determines the factors that influence MSME labor productivity, and determines MSMEs' resilience strategies in entering the digital market. The research location is Aceh Province which consists of 23 districts/cities. The population in this study were all MSME actors in Aceh Province who were spread across districts/cities, using a purposive random sampling technique. The samples in the study were related agencies and MSMEs actors in Aceh Province, which are spread across 13 regencies/cities, namely Banda Aceh, Sabang, Lhokseumawe, Subulussalam, Langsa, Aceh Tamiang, East Aceh, North Aceh, Central Aceh, West Aceh, Aceh Singkil, Aceh Besar and Aceh Jaya. The results of the study show that (1) the marketing model that is used effectively is the marketing mix, namely the marketing mix, (2) the productivity of MSME workers is influenced by the level of education, age, work experience, gender and expertise or skills possessed by the workforce, (3) The MSMEs resilience strategy is dealing with the digital market can be pursued through government policies by providing training or assistance to business actors to increase product innovation and increase promotion or product sales online through various types of social media, such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and market places other.

Studies on supply chain resilience have been well documented, but most of these studies were conducted at organizational level and hence the role of facilitating managers in the supply chain is conspicuously neglected. The purpose of this paper is to explore the effect of tripartite social capital (bonding, bridging and linking) on managers’ resilience building and to examine the underlying mechanism through which these relationships exist. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaire from 452 supply chain managers in Nigeria, a country that has been rocked by series of environmental turbulences. The measurement and structural models were assessed by Partial Lease Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) using SMART-PLS 3 software. The findings suggest that linking social capital influenced manager’s resilience, but bonding and bridging did not. Bonding, bridging and linking influence manager’s commitment. Additionally, manager’s commitment mediated the relationship between tripartite social capital and manager’s resilience, Theoretical, practical and methodological implications were also discussed.
