This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Workload, Demographic Factors, Locus of Control, Self Esteem and Workstress on Burnout in the Senior Masinists. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. Questionnaires were distributed to 43 respondent employees of The Indonesia Railway Industry. The approach used in this research is a Variance-based Model or Structural Equation Model with a Smart-PLS analysis tool. The results show that the four variables namely Workload, Demography, Locus of Control and Work Stress had positive and significant effects on Burnout on Machinists while the Self-Esteem Variable did not have a significant effect on Burnout.

This paper presents an empirical investigation on psychological characteristics of entrepreneurs in one of Iranian universities located in city of Zanjan, Iran. The proposed study of this paper uses a standard questionnaire in Likert scale and concentrates on three components of locus of control, risk taking and tolerance of ambiguity. The study chooses a sample of 350 out of 11,000 students who were enrolled in various areas and detected that students maintained higher level of risk taking (t-student = 10.999, P-value = 0.000), higher level of locus of control (t-student = 29.708, P-value = 0.000) and lower level of tolerance of ambiguity (t-student = -13.584, P-value = 0.000).

Stress plays an important role on job satisfaction in many industries such as accounting. We present an empirical study to examine the impact of job stress on the relationship between the locus of control and accountants & apos; job satisfaction. The study selects a sample of 65 senior and regular accountants who work for thirteen different regional municipalities of city of Mashad located in east part of Iran. The study uses different well-known questionnaire methods such as stress diagnostic survey, locus of control, job satisfaction and employees & apos; performance to perform the study. The results indicate that the stress is on average level for the dominant locos of control factors and job satisfaction and employee performance are in relatively high level. The study also reveals that there are four important factors of role of ambiguity, quantitative overload, career development and handling other workers & apos; responsibilities play important role on job satisfaction and managing career development has important impact on the performance of accountants.
