Student’s digital entrepreneurial intention is a key to develop nascent digital entrepreneurs from university graduates in an uncertain era. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of digital entrepreneurial education, risk propensity and environment support on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and digital entrepreneurial intention of university students in Semarang. The research population is students from several universities in Semarang City who have participated in digital entrepreneurship learning. 90 students are elected to be tested as research respondents. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive analysis of the structural equation model. Risk propensity, entrepreneurial education, and environmental support positively support entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Risk propensity and entrepreneurial education also found a significant effect on digital entrepreneurial intention, but environment support found insignificant effect on digital entrepreneurial intention. University, government and the private sector are highly expected to increase students' digital entrepreneurial intention through training and learning programs both in the classroom or outside the classroom.

This study develops a mediated model to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention among Vietnamese students. This model also focuses on examining the role of subjective norms on shaping entrepreneurial intention. By using a meta-analytic path analysis with a sample of 2218 students at 14 universities in Vietnam and based on the theory of planned behaviour, authors find that subjective norms did not directly influence on entrepreneurial intention but it had strong indirect effect on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial self-efficacy, attitude toward entrepreneurship and perceived behavioural control. Moreover, the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention was also mediated by attitude towards entrepreneurship and perceived behavioural control. In terms of direct effect, the result illustrates that attitudes towards entrepreneurship had the strongest effect on entrepreneurial intention among Vietnamese students, followed by entrepreneurial self-efficacy. These findings also show that the theory of planned behaviour could be effectively applied in the context of transitional economics in Vietnam.

The role of leaders toward the development of entrepreneurship has been fully acknowledged. However, Leaders’ characteristics such as strategic improvisation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy were mainly examined in the private sector. Hence, it is imperative to extend empirical studies to public sector organizations. The present study, therefore, proposed and validated a model linking leaders’ strategic improvisation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy to corporate entrepreneurship in Nigerian higher education institutions (HEIs). Using a structured questionnaire, 220 responses were generated from large HEIs in Kano State, Nigeria. The data of the study was analysed using SmartPLS 3.0 to ascertain both measurement and structural model validity of the model. The results showed that both leaders’ strategic improvisation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy were significantly related to corporate entrepreneurship in HEIs. Implication and limitation of the study; and suggestions for future study are also provided.
