The basic aim of the ongoing article is to examine the impact of social corporate responsibilities on the financial reporting quality of Jordanian manufacturing firms. For this purpose, data has been extracted from the top fifteen manufacturing companies by using corporate reports along with the Amman Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2020. The random effect model along with the generalized method of moment (GMM) has been executed for analysis purposes. The results revealed that social corporate responsibilities have positively impacted on the financial reporting quality of the Jordanian manufacturing firms. These findings have been guided to the regulators that they should provide the focus on the social corporate responsibilities that enhance the quality of financial reporting of the firm. The findings of the current study may be helpful for the manufacturing firm who wants to produce better quality of financial reporting along with the upcoming studies who want to investigate this area in their studies.

The purpose of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric analysis to analyze trends and patterns of outsourcing and supply chain research results using statistical and co-word analysis. The search results in the Scopus database yielded 787 relevant documents with the keywords outsourcing and supply chain from 1997 to early 2022. The results of the bibliometric analysis resulted in the number of publications, citations, subject areas, country, keywords, and topic clusters. The trend of outsourcing and supply chain research tends to increase every year although it had a significant decline in 2011. The documents with the most citations are related to supplier selection using analytical network processes, optimization of outsourcing partners, and ICT in the supply chain. The four fields that dominate the research area are business management, engineering, decision science, and computer science. The United States of America is the most productive country with the most citations. There are four cluster topics formed: the importance of supply chain management in outsourcing in industry and ICT in company activities, the impact of supply chain on business performance and outsourcing decisions, logistics outsourcing decisions to third parties and their effectiveness, lastly the benefit costs of outsourcing and the implications for product management. This paper provides an additional updated overview of the outsourcing and supply chain research map.

Aviation safety performance at Wamena Indonesia airport is still relatively low, and this is shown by the high number of accidents that occurred at the airport in the 2013-2018 period, namely 20 accidents. The low performance of flight safety at Wamena airport is suspected to be related to the lack of optimal implementation of safety risk management and the competence of airport staff that still needs to be improved. The study aimed to determine the effect of safety risk management and airport personnel competence on flight safety performance at Wamena airport in eastern Indonesia. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach involving some respondents from airport staff and as many as 60 officers. The results showed that there was a significant direct effect of safety risk management on the flight safety performance of 79.8%; there is a significant direct effect of airport personnel competence on flight safety performance by 81.8%; there is a significant direct effect of airport personnel competence on safety risk management of 98.1%; there is a significant direct effect of safety risk management and the competence of airport personnel simultaneously on flight safety performance by 96% and based on research results show that indirectly safety risk management has an influence on flight safety performance through airport personnel competence of 97.7%.

This study aims to examine the role of strategic agility to achieve competitiveness by analyzing the mediating effect of knowledge management construct in Jordanian’s public higher education institutions. The study reviewed the existing literature addressing the knowledge management and strategic features of the organizations. The resource‐based view theory is the lens of linking the knowledge management with strategic outcomes of the organizations. The hypothesized theoretical model was tested using a quantitative research method through questionnaire. A PLS-SEM approach was utilized to conduct the key analytical procedure and test the proposed research hypotheses. The results found a significant and positive effect of both strategic agility and knowledge management on achieving competitiveness. On the contrary, knowledge management showed no effect on competitiveness. But it had a mediation effect of the strategic agility on achieving competitiveness. Future research suggestions provided resulting from the research implications to provide different research methods and models.

To increase finance performance any small company needs to improve its management in supply chain and human competence (response). The main aim of our work is aimed at identifying universal marketing audit tools that could help small businesses to increase efficiency and profitability. A sample of 144 small businesses through a survey were used for research. The study applied the SmartPls program for finding marketing audit tools. Our research showed that supply chain management and response (reaction to feedback from employees or customers) are main tools of marketing audit to help improve a small business. We found that marketing audit has a positive effect on both current market efficiency and current profitability. Results also show that, despite the direct benefits of marketing audit, many small companies in emerging markets do not adopt audit due to lack of marketing knowledge. This study can be a reference for owners of small businesses in emerging markets. We developed novel tools of marketing audit that could help small businesses. This paper is an original contribution to managerial knowledge.

This study comes to ascertain the impact of digitalism on supply chain flexibility. A sample consisting of 350 employees was selected from manufacturing companies in the food industry to collect research data. One inclusion criterion was assumed in this research, which is employee knowledge of supply chain processes. Research data was gathered using a questionnaire distributed to the members of the sample. The final number of the questionnaires was 297 with a response rate of 85%. Analyzing data via SmartPLS 3.0, the results indicated that Internet of things (IOT) had a significant effect on supply chain flexibility. Such results confirmed that one dimension of digitalism, which is the Internet of things, has a significant effect on supply chain flexibility.
