Supplier selection is a complex multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. There are literally various methods for choosing appropriate supplier but there are several criteria involved in complex decision making process. The classical MCDM methods cannot effectively solve real-world problems however fuzzy MCDM methods facilitate the solution fairly and enable the decision-makers to reach accurate decisions in this selection process. In this study, a supplier selection problem is handled, in a firm in automotive industry of Turkey. Fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and generalized Choquet integral are used individually in the solution of the problem.

This study is targeted towards the explosive behavior of crypto-currencies, namely Bitcoin, Etherium, Litecoin and Ripple by investigating the crypto-currencies bubbles and the causal link between Bitcoin and other three crypto-currencies prices, using GSADF and wavelet coherence tests. The study aims to answer the following questions which have not been investigated in the literature to our best knowledge (i) Was there any bubble in the prices of Bitcoin, Etherium, Litecoin and Ripple and between 01.09.2016 and 01.04.2019? If yes, why (ii) was there any linkage between Bitcoin and Etherium, Litecoin and Ripple? Our findings reveal that (a) there were some bubbles in the crypto-currencies for the periods investigated; (b) there was a positive correlation between Bitcoin and Etherium, Litecoin and Ripple in the short-run; (c) changes in Bitcoin prices lead changes Etherium, Litecoin and Ripple prices in the long run at different periods.

Agricultural tractor selection is vital for farms, farmers or other agricultural companies in terms
of success and competitiveness in the global market. This selection may be assumed as a
MCDM (Multi Criteria Decision Making) problem involving qualitative and quantitative
factors that must be simultaneously integrated into the selection process. At the same time there
are many agricultural tractor alternatives in the market when purchasing an agricultural tractor.
This paper deals with the agricultural tractor selection problem using TOPSIS method. This
problem is also solved with two other MCDM methods; COPRAS (COmplex PRoportional
ASsessment) and EVAMIX (EVAluation of MIXed Data) to rank the tractors alternatives.
Lastly Borda and Copeland methods are used to aggregate all three ranking results.

Numerous studies have been conducted on individual and organizational adoption of social media, and many of these studies were conducted in advanced economies by focusing on large corporations. This study addresses the gap by examining the use of social media by SMEs in West Africa, notably Nigeria. Using a structured questionnaire, 682 small business owners were questioned regarding their thoughts on social media adoption: cost, privacy, convenience, and quality of service. The PLS-SEM result reveals a structural relationship between social media adoption and SME performance. Due to the substantial change in operations induced by COVID-19, enterprises are increasing their involvement in social media marketing to improve performance, and the competence of social media strengthens the effect on customer satisfaction.

It is considered that determining the factors influencing the purchase intentions of customers in the field of social commerce by taking into account the cultural structures specific to each region can give highly valuable feedback to companies in the commercial field where competition has considerably increased. To this end, in the present study, it was aimed to propose and test out a structural model for the factors of social commerce constructs, social influence, habit and trust, which affect the purchase intentions of consumers. The study group of the research consisted of 447 Facebook users who live in North Cyprus. The scale form used as the data collection tool in the study consisted of 6 parts. In the first part of the scale, closed-ended questions were asked to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants. The other parts of the scale consisted of 4 items about social commerce constructs, 4 items about habit, 3 items about social influence, 4 items about trust and 3 items about purchase intention. The reliability coefficients for the scales ranged between 0.79 and 0.92. These results indicated that the reliability coefficients were at the desired level. Socio-demographic variables were summarized using descriptive statistics, frequency and percentage distribution. First, normality test analyses were performed on the scales, and it was concluded that the data showed a normal distribution (kurtosis and skewness values varied between +2 / -2). Following the normality test, the measurement model was tested. Within the framework of a structural model proposed regarding the factors influencing the purchase intention of customers who shop through social commerce, it was concluded that habit, social influence and social commerce constructs had a significant effect on purchase intention. It was also concluded that habit and social commerce constructs significantly influenced purchase intention through trust.

The selection of air compressor is a Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem including conflicting criteria and various alternatives. Selecting the appropriate air compressor is an important decision for the company as it affects the energy consumption and operating cost. To aid the decision making process in the companies, MCDM methods are proposed in the literature. In all MCDM methods, the main goal is to select the best alternative or to rank a set of given alternatives. In this paper, the air compressor is selected for a spinning mill of a textile company with an integrated approach based on MACBETH (Measuring Attractiveness by a Categorical Based Evaluation TecHnique) and COPRAS (COmplex PRoportional ASsessment) methods. MACBETH method is utilized to determine the weights of the criteria. Then COPRAS method is used to determine the ranking of the alternatives and select the best one.

In this paper, an alternative version of the fuzzy PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluations) method is proposed. Differently from other studies, preference functions used in PROMETHEE method are handled in terms of fuzzy distances between alternatives with respect to each criterion. In order to indicate the applicability of this method, the method is applied for a supplier selection problem in the literature. Ranking results are similar obtained by TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and fuzzy ELECTRE (ELimination Et Choix Traduisant la REalité) methods. The implementation of the proposed method indicates that the amount of computations is decreased and decision makers can easily reach to desirable solution.

This study aims to investigate the impact of social networking sites advertisements on consumer purchase decisions. It also seeks to examine how brand awareness mediates this primary effect. The data for this study was collected based on 360 followers from student's perspectives towards major apparel brands across Girne American University in North Cyprus. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM) in order to analyze the data collected. The study found that SNS advertisement had a significant impact on brand awareness, alongside consumer purchase decisions. Similarly, it found support for the mediating role of brand awareness. This research extends prior research by investigating the mediating effect of brand awareness between the SNS advertisements and purchase decision path. Finally, this study enriches social media marketing literature by providing evidence from North Cyprus.

Project management system (PMS) is broadly recognized as the effective management tool for several organizations. European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) model provides some advantages for companies to be successful in current competitive environment. This paper is based on the combination of EFQM and Quality function deployment (QFD) in order to eval-uate a PMS in an aviation organization. Although, an integration of these models increases the system complexity, the implementation of EFQM-QFD helps us identify all noteworthy success factors of PMS within the organization. In addition, the current status of PMS performance is evaluated based on these factors. This study attempts to find out how organizations ought to be managed to take full advantage of PMS tools. This study uses a comprehensive questionnaire to find all critical factors influencing on the success of the organization. The method of this paper is implemented in an organization in aviation industry with several management departments.

In order to prepare students for the workforce, academic programs incorporate a variety of tools that students are likely to use in their future careers. One of these tools employed by business and technology programs is the integration of live software applications such as SAP through the SAP University Alliance (SAP UA) program. Since the SAP UA program has been around for only about 10 years and the available literature on the topic is limited, research is needed to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the SAP UA program. A collaborative study of SAP UA faculty perceptions of their SAP UAs was conducted in the fall of 2011. Of the faculty invited to participate in the study, 31% completed the online survey. The results indicate that most faculty experienced difficulty implementing SAP into their programs and report that a need exists for more standardized curriculum and training, while a large percentage indicated that they are receiving the support they need from their schools and SAP.
