Supply chain performance has been a key element of competitive strategy to boost organizational productivity and profitability. In the United Kingdom (UK), a survey disclosed that approximately 40% of the UK’s gross domestic product (GDP) was consumed on supply chain related activities. Because of the extensive use of gross domestic product (GDP) on supply chain, it is important to work on UK based supply chain companies and to reveal various factors to enhance supply chain performance. Therefore, the primary objective of the current study is to investigate the combine effect of audit determinants and leadership styles to enhance supply chain performance in UK based companies. Data were collected from audit department employees and other managerial employees who are closely related to supply chain activities. After analyzing the data through Smart PLS 3, it was found that audit and leadership styles played important contribution in supply chain performance. Moreover, top management and employee commitment to change maintained significant influence to enhance positive effect on audit and leadership. This study is much significant for UK supply chain companies to enhance supply chain performance.

This study aimed at testing the potential impact of the disclosure of the main variables of sustainable development on the quality of financial reports, in a developing country, Iraq, where there is a lack of research in this area. To achieve its goal this study relied on an analysis of a sample from 91 financial reports of the Iraqi commercial banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange during the period 2012-2018. Our results prove that disclosure of the dimensions of sustainable development as a whole has a positive impact on the quality of financial reports in commercial banks in Iraq. The paper recommends conducting more research and studies on the dimensions of sustainable development in the future for other sectors such as industrial and service sectors linking it with other variables such as the cost of capital, or inconsistency of information.

E-commerce market of Pakistan is instable which causes low performance of e-logistic industry. Thus, logistic industry of Pakistan is lacking as compared to other developing countries such as China, India, and Malaysia. Low performance is majorly based on low staff service quality, inappropriate website design and goods traceability system. As remedies of these issues, the current study introduced firm’s IT capability and information communication technology (ICT). The primary objective of this study is to investigate the determinants of e-logistic firm’s performance in Pakistan. To achieve this objective, quantitative research approach along with cross-sectional research design was used. By using the survey method, 300 questionnaires were distributed among the managerial staff of e-logistic companies. Smart PLS 3 was used as a statistical tool. It is found that staff service quality, website design and e-traceability had significant and positive relationships with firm’s e-logistic performance. Moreover, firm’s IT capability as a moderator enhanced the positive effect of staff service quality, website design and e-traceability. Nevertheless, information communication technology (ICT) positively mediated the relationship between e-traceability and firm’s e-logistic performance. Hence, firm’s IT capability and information communication technology (ICT) are the key elements to decrease various issues of staff service quality, website design and e-traceability. The study is much significant for practitioners and e-logistic companies to enhance performance by focusing on firm’s IT capability and information communication technology (ICT).

The metaverse is an imaginary network of parallel universes. Using this technology might liven up dull lecture halls. By expanding synchronous communication into the "metaverse," many individuals may have meaningful conversations and exchange perspectives. This research focuses on finding out how medical students in the UAE feel about the metaverse system. The conceptual model incorporates elements from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), including perceived value and perceived ubiquity as adoption determinants. To test the validity of the suggested framework, a survey was developed and distributed to 369 full-time students at one of the universities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Machine learning (ML) and structural equation modeling using partial least squares (PLS-SEM) are used for data analysis. According to the results, the extent to which users saw value in and adoption of the metaverse system was a significant factor in whether or not they intended to participate. This study was helpful since it elucidated the relative significance of various healthcare components, allowing professionals to prioritize their efforts better.

Jordanian real estate enterprises are experiencing difficult market circumstances and an increasingly competitive environment; following these issues, this study examines the leverage of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on customer purchase intention in a Jordanian context with specific reference to real estate enterprises, considering the moderating role of reliability. Based on earlier studies, a conceptual model for the study was created. This research includes e-WOM as an independent variable affecting customers' purchase intention as a dependent variable mediated by reliability. The investigation follows descriptive-analytical methods; based on a convenience sampling approach, 300 questionnaires were distributed through Google Forms; nonetheless and 250 responses were accepted. To analyze data and assess hypotheses, a structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using PLS was employed. Results demonstrated a significant effect of e-WOM and Reliability on purchasing intent of customers, and the moderating role of reliability in the relationship between e-WOM and purchase intent was also affirmed. The findings give Jordanian real estate businesses information on ways to use that are most effective e-WOM to persuade buyers to buy.

The current study aimed to shed light on the influence of quality 4.0 including Data, Analytics, Connectivity, Collaboration, App Development, Scalability, Management Systems, Compliance, Culture, Leadership, and Competency in supporting organizational efforts of digital transformation among Jordanian telecommunication organizations. A quantitative approach was adopted to achieve the previously mentioned aim. An online questionnaire was filled out by a convenient sample of 141 quality managers and employees within Jordanian telecommunication organizations: namely Zain, Umniah, and Orange. SPSS was used to screen and analyze primary data and AMOS version 23 was used to test the study hypotheses. The results of the study accepted the main hypothesis which indicated that quality 4.0 increases organizations seeking to accomplish digital transformation due to its ability to present better chances for the organization to develop and adhere to quality standards. The study recommended supporting organizational IT infrastructure to make a good environment for quality 4.0 adoption.

This paper proposes a new variant of NTRU with a slightly different critical formulation. The significance of this new variant is that it requires an additional private key to provide a tighter scheme. Because of these changes, modified key generation, encryption and decryption algorithms have been developed accordingly. The new variant is analyzed and tested against several well-known attacks, namely the alternate private key attack, brute force attack, meet-in-the-middle attack, multiple transmission attacks and lattice attack. Security properties related to these attacks have been established and explored to ensure the new variant is secure against the said attacks. Several examples are provided to illustrate the ideas.

A new method of amidation of Carboxy Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT-COOH) with diamine monomer such as ethylene diamine (EDA) and O-Phenylenediamine (OPDA) was applied by using a solution blending technique. The structure and properties of these composites have been investigated by FTIR, SEM, TEM, XRD, UV, DSC and TGA. The formation of Poly [MWCNT/ Amide] composites was confirmed and the DC electrical conductivity of poly-composites was in the range 4.5×10^-6-5.3×10^-6 S/cm due to the interaction between the nanotubes.

In this era of industrialization, there is an increase rate of e-logistic services, which has raised the necessity to pay more attention on e-logistic customer satisfaction. E-logistic services spread so rapidly worldwide which overlook the significant segment of customer satisfaction. Therefore, the prime objective of the current research study is to develop a comprehensive framework for e-logistics customer satisfaction. Various studies highlighted the area of e- logistic customer satisfaction, however, in a rare case, literature formally documented the problem of e-logistic customer satisfaction. Hence, less attention has been paid to the aspect of customer satisfaction in e-logistic. To address this gap, four hypotheses are proposed concerning the relationship of low distribution charges (LDC), low transit time (LTT), effective payment method (EPM), information technology (IT) and e-logistic customer satisfaction. An e-mail survey was preferred, and questionnaires were distributed by using simple random sampling technique. The three hundred (300) questionnaires were distributed among the e-logistic users. The results of the current study found that low distribution charges, low transit time, effective payment method and information technology had a positive significant relationship with e-logistic customer satisfaction. Furthermore, information technology found main contributory element between effective payment method and e-logistic customer satisfaction. This study is contributing to the body of knowledge by developing a comprehensive framework to solve various e-logistic problems. Hence, the current study is helpful for e-logistic companies to mitigate e-logistic customer satisfaction problems.

Cell load variation is considered a significant shortcoming in scheduling of cellular manufacturing systems. In this article, a new method is proposed for scheduling dynamic cellular manufacturing systems in the presence of bottleneck and parallel machines. The aim of this method is to control cell load variation during the process of determining the best trading off values between in-house manufacturing and outsourcing. A genetic algorithm (GA) is developed because of the high potential of trapping in the local optima, and results are compared with the results of LINGO® 12.0 software. The Taguchi method (an L_9 orthogonal optimization) is used to estimate parameters of GA in order to solve experiments derived from literature. An in-depth analysis is conducted on the results in consideration of various factors, and control charts are used on machine-load variation. Our findings indicate that the dynamic condition of product demands affects the routing of product parts and may induce machine-load variations that yield to cell-load diversity. An increase in product uncertainty level causes the loading level of each cell to vary, which in turn results in the development of “complex dummy sub-cells”. The effect of the complex sub-cells is measured using another mathematical index. The results showed that the proposed GA can provide solutions with limited cell-load variations.
