The current mobile network core is built based on a centralized architecture, including the S-GW and P-GW entities to serve as mobility anchors. Nevertheless, this architecture causes non-optimal routing and latency for control messages. In contrast, the fifth generation (5G) network will redesign the network service architecture to improve changeover management and deliver clients a better Quality-of-Experience (QoE). To enhance the design of the existing network, a distributed 5G core architecture is introduced in this study. The control and data planes are distinct, and the core network also combines IP functionality anchored in a multi-session gateway design. We also suggest a control node that will fully implement the control plane and result in a flat network design. Its architecture, therefore, improves data delivery, mobility, and attachment speed. The performance of the proposed architecture is validated by improved NS3 simulation to run several simulations, including attachment and inter- and intra-handover. According to experimental data, the suggested network is superior in terms of initial attachment, network delay, and changeover management.

The primary objective of this article is to present the findings of an experimental study on the use of a human-like “naturalistic” avatar (of both genders) for information presentations. The primary goal is to investigate how users' frame of mind, purchasing behavior, and satisfaction are affected by being presented with information by a naturalistic avatar that lacks expressive capabilities. Two different types of information presentations were developed and empirically tested on 48 participants, namely: (i) two dimensional static graphical and textual information presentation and (ii) non-expressive naturalistic avatar. For this comparative research study, a simplified version of the user experience model that was used in our earlier research (the EUX-DM) was selected to serve as the measurement model. Participants' perceived values of the measured qualities were found to be independent of both their own and the naturalistic avatar's gender, and the non-expressive avatar had a positive effect and a stronger encouragement on participants' intention to purchase, usage attitude, and satisfaction than other types of information presentations.

The present study examined the impact of social media influencers (SMIs) on consumers’ purchasing decisions, by examining the factors affecting purchase intentions of consumers. Online questionnaire was used to gather data from Facebook users as the study respondents. SMIs are currently a promising marketing technique in influencing purchase intention of customers, but in Jordan, studies on this matter are still lacking. This study therefore presented several key factors associated with SMIs in influencing the purchase intention of customers, in Jordanian context. Accordingly, the key factors affecting customer purchase intention through SMIs were examined. A model was proposed and empirically tested and validated using structural equation model (SEM), with data obtained from 390 Jordanian Facebook users. From the results, significant impact of Information Quality (IQ) and Trustworthiness (TRU) on attitude toward a brand, and consequently on purchase intentions of customers, was affirmed.

Digital divide, trust towards e-commerce system, and facilitating conditions as the factors impacting the use intention of the international trade center were examined in this study, through a survey carried out on 500 Jordanian students. The proposed conceptual model was empirically tested, and significant impact of trust and facilitating conditions on intention to use the international trade center was affirmed. Meanwhile, the digital divide did not impact the intention to use the international trade center. Being limited to the Jordanian context, the study findings may not be generalizable to other countries.
