In this work, we studied the problem of thermoelastic diffusion beams on the basis of modified couple stress theory under the effects of two temperature and laser pulse. The Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and the Laplace transform technique are applied to solve the basic equations of thermoelastic diffusion in the non-dimensional form. The transformed components of displacement, lateral deflection, axial stress, temperature change, concentration, and chemical potential are calculated mathematically to solve the problem. Copper material is used to prepare the mathematical model. The general algorithm of the inverse Laplace transform technique has been calculated numerically. MATLAB software is used to find the results numerically and depict them graphically. The effects of two temperature, laser pulse, and couple stress are presented graphically on the physical quantities. Particular cases are also discussed in the present problem. Laser pulse has many applications in Heat treatment, cutting of plastics, glasses, ceramics, semiconductors and metals, surgery, Lithography, and welding.

This review article aims to provide a greater understanding of on-going research in fracture behavior of additively manufacturable microcellular structures. Despite growing recent investigations in the mechanics of microcellular structures, predominantly on their constitutive behavior and structural optimization, understanding the fracture behavior is still in its infancy, particularly for functionally patterned microcellular structures. While presenting a comprehensive review of the past and current research activities, this paper discusses potential future directions that are necessary to fully cover unexplored areas in this field.

Hospitals may keep track of all financial transactions using an accounting system. It can produce thorough hospital reports that give management or other interested parties a clear set of information to help them raise the efficiency of the supply chain. Therefore, the goal of this study was to look into the role of the application of an accounting system (AS) in raising the efficiency of the supply chain (SC) in Jordanian hospitals. A questionnaire was used as the data collection method. The descriptive statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS. In addition, 134 employees from these hospitals took part in the survey, according to the results of this study, AS plays a significant role in developing and raising the efficiency of SC in Jordanian hospitals.

Recently, there have been a growing number of articles focusing on the benefits of adopting e-SCM systems and the value of such systems in supply chain performance. However, less academic research was devoted to understanding factors affecting the adoption intention of such systems. This study uses the technology, organization, and environment (TOE) framework to examine factors that affect the adoption of e-SCM systems in Jordan, where limited research has been conducted in this country. Through an online survey filled by 251 participants via the LinkedIn website, the study shows that perceived relative advantage, financial resources, employee competency, top management support, competitive pressures, and customer pressure positively impact the adoption intention of e-SCM systems. The findings confirm the association between variables embedded in the TOE framework and the adoption intention of innovative supply chain systems and solutions and support earlier findings. According to the study findings, e-SCM systems providers should focus on the relative advantage these systems offer to increase the likelihood of their adoption.

On average, Guangxi experiences 2 severe tropical cyclone disasters yearly. A large number of disaster victims need governments at all levels to raise enough emergency supplies to carry out effective relief. However, there is no proper reserve center for tropical cyclone disaster storage and collection of emergency supplies in Guangxi, so it is urgent to choose a suitable location to build the Guangxi tropical cyclone disaster emergency supplies reserve center. The data of 16 severe tropical cyclone disasters and rescues in Guangxi from 2014 to 2021 were collected. An optimal location model of the emergency supplies reserve center for tropical cyclone disasters in Guangxi was established using the improved center of gravity method based on GIS. After four iterations of calculation, the longitude and latitude coordinate S5(108.64, 21.98) were used as a suitable site to construct the Guangxi Tropical Cyclone Disaster Emergency Supplies Reserve Center to ensure the fastest and lowest cost delivery of emergency supplies to the disaster areas in Guangxi. According to the map of Tiandi, the actual place corresponding to this coordinate is near Liuwu Village next to Qinzhou East Railway Station, Qinnan District, Qinzhou, Guangxi. This location coordinate S5 can provide a reference for the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government to select a suitable address to construct the Guangxi Tropical Cyclone Disaster Emergency Supplies Reserve Center. The improved center of gravity location model based on GIS can also provide a reference for other provinces or cities to carry out emergency supplies reserve center locations.

This study examines the impact of unsystematic financial risk, including liquidity risk, credit risk, and operational risk, on financial stability in conventional banks listed on the Amman Stock Exchange in Jordan. Understanding and managing these risks is crucial for protecting investors, maintaining financial stability, encouraging foreign investment, and strengthening the financial sector in Jordan. The study adopts a descriptive approach to collect and describe data and utilizes cross-sectional panel data over five years from 2016 to 2021 to establish cause-and-effect relationships between study variables, while controlling for other relevant factors that may influence the relationship. The findings suggest that while liquidity risk may not directly impact financial stability, it remains a critical risk factor that requires attention in risk management strategies. Credit risk has a negative impact on financial stability, highlighting the importance of effective credit risk management strategies to maintain a stable financial system. The study finds that operational risk has no direct impact on financial stability. Still, unsystematic operational risks can have significant implications for individual financial institutions and may indirectly affect overall stability. The study underscores the importance of comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate the negative impact of unsystematic financial risk on financial stability. Future research may consider analyzing the impact of other types of risks on financial stability.

The purpose of this research is to provide practical and theoretical insights about how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adapt and further develop entrepreneurial activities, product innovation and SME business performance This study used a quantitative method using a questionnaire for data collection. The research data developed by distributed online questionnaires by social media. The number of samples used was 230 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used for data processing by SmartPLS 4.0. Based on the results of data analysis it is concluded that entrepreneurial competence has a significant effect on business performance and entrepreneurial competence has a significant effect on product innovation. Product innovation has also a significant effect on the performance of SME businesses.

The current study tries to identify the impact of COVID-19 on human resource management practices, business processes, and organizational sustainability. Furthermore, it identified the impact of sustainable HRM practices on hypermarkets' sustainability. The outbreaks of COVID-19 have considerably impacted organizations and businesses all over the world. Most companies were not ready to face such force majeure. Moreover, like everywhere else in the world COVID-19 has significantly affected HRM functions and organizational sustainability in the organizations in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The research is based on a survey of 363 HR practitioners working in hypermarkets in the GCC countries to examine the impact of the pandemic COVID-19 on organizational sustainability. The findings reveal the negative impact of COVID-19 on human resource management practices, business processes, and organizational sustainability. Furthermore, they identify the positive impact of sustainable HRM practices and effective business processes on hypermarkets' sustainability. Finally, the results show that effective business processes and sustainable HRM practices annihilate the negative effect of COVID-19 on organizational sustainability in hypermarkets operating in the GCC countries. This study is unique since it is conducted during the pandemic period and analyses the negative impact of Covid-19 on organizations in the GCC countries. Moreover, it suggests solutions to minimize the negative effect of COVID-19 on organizational sustainability.

This study's objective is to analyze the factors that influence whether or not small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) use business intelligence. Based on an exhaustive assessment of the literature, the study offers a model dependent on the diffusion of innovation and augmented with factors expressing the idea of project management maturity (PMM). The research applied structural equation modelling (SEM) to examine data obtained from 112 Jordanian company workers. The findings showed that the adoption of business intelligence has a positive and significant relationship to the complexity, compatibility, and relative advantage of business intelligence; the level of project management maturity has a significant effect on the level of relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity; and the level of project management maturity is significantly associated with the change management and knowledge sharing practices in SMEs. However, we contend that further study has to be carried out, particularly in the context of developing nations, in order to get a comprehensive understanding of how different SMEs may effectively deploy and make use of business intelligence.

In the workplace of the twenty-first century, there has been a rise in interest in organizational learning. The purpose of this research is to add to the body of knowledge regarding organizational learning, by analyzing how TQM affects organizational learning. Also in this study, we intend to indicate the influence of strategic thinking as moderator on the relationship between TQM and organizational learning. Data were gathered from respondents (N = 306) who were employed in industrial sectors and registered with the Amman stock exchange in Jordan. Furthermore, the study results support the assumption that TQM affects organizational learning. Moreover, the findings confirmed that strategic thinking plays a moderating role in the relationship between organizational learning and TQM, supporting the moderation hypothesis as well. After presenting theoretical and practical implications of the research, limitations and future direction are discussed.
