The objective of the article is to evaluate the influence of green supply chain management on firm performance through a mediate variable which is competitive advantage and moderate variable which is supply chain integration. Research was conducted on 313 Vietnamese enterprises and the data analyzed by Smart PLS software shows that green supply chain management has a positive impact on firm performance. At the same time, competitive advantage and supply chain integration both have a statistically significant mediating and moderating role. The research results are meaningful for managers to come up with green supply chain integration policies and strategies to improve competitive advantage and firm performance.

Supply chain management and integration have become more important business topics mainly addressed within the different businesses industries in order to influence the organizational performance. The current research study aims to investigate this effect by involving some key of supply chain partners on organizational performance. Also, the moderation role of trust as an influential aspect in the business was also studied in this work. To conduct this research and meet the stated research objective, a quantitative research method was used to collect data from food products manufacturers in Jordan due to the main contribution of this sector to the national economy of Jordan. PLS-SEM approach was selected in the phase of analysis and the findings revealed a significant effect of all hypothesized research assumptions and a significant moderating effect of trust on the relationship between supply chain partners’ integration and organizational performance. The research findings also provided expected implications and supported the relevant evidence and literature in this area, as well it would contribute to cover the existing research knowledge gaps by integrating a new model including sets of new variables that have not been examined together within a single conceptual framework.

The aim of this study is to explore the impact of supply chain 4.0 technologies (e.g., big data and Internet-of-things) of the strategic outcomes of supply chain 4.0. The required data was collected via a questionnaire from a sample consisting of 211 employees from construction companies in Jordan. The results point out that big data and the Internet of things have significant impacts on the strategic outcomes of supply chain 4.0. Hence, it was concluded that supply chain technologies are pivotal drivers of supply chain strategic outcomes. Based on these results companies are called to adopt and integrate Industry 4.0 technologies into their supply chains to improve supply chain long-run performance. Scholars were also encouraged to investigate the impact of supply chain 4.0 technologies on other constructs such as supply chain resilience.

The global supply chain is facing risks and challenges that disrupt the supply chain and negatively affect performance. The high-quality cooperation between supply chain members is a useful solution to help limit risks and improve its performance. This study was conducted to demonstrate the relationship between collaboration, supply chain risk, and supply chain performance of organic agricultural products in Vietnam. Research data were collected from 162 enterprises producing organic agricultural products. Applying the structural equation modeling (SEM), the study has shown that supply chain risks negatively affect the supply chain performance of organic agricultural products. The close cooperation between members of the supply chain limits supply chain risks, thereby improving the efficiency of the supply chain of Vietnamese organic agricultural products.

Firms' activities to govern their supply chains are defined as supply chain management practices. This research explores a model that describes the association between organizational performance and supply chain management practices. Based on existing research, a theoretical framework for the investigation was established. A standardized questionnaire was developed to gather data for the research, which was completed by 396 supply chain professionals from Saudi Arabian food companies. Partial least square (PLS)–structured equation modeling was used to examine the model and hypotheses. Four independent variables were chosen to scrutinize the impact of supply chain management strategies on organizational performance: customer relationship, strategic supplier partnership, level of information sharing, and postponement. According to the research, customer relationships, strategic supplier partnerships, and information sharing all have a major impact on organizational performance. On the other hand, the postponement has no significant impact on organizational performance.

This study aims to examine the impact of risks from information in the supply chain on the financial performance of enterprises, with the case study in Vietnam, using quantitative research methods, through SEM linear structure model analysis. With 412 samples who are managers of different ranks at enterprises, the study results show that risks from information in the supply chain not only have a direct, reverse impact but also have an indirect impact on financial performance depending on the level of interdependence of businesses. In addition, opportunistic behavior and the degree of interdependence have also been shown to have a reverse impact on the level of cooperation of enterprises. The findings of this study show a contribution both theoretically and practically, demonstrating the inherent negative risks of information in the supply chain to the financial performance of the enterprise. Research has shown the intermediate role of the degree of interdependence in the relationship between the above two factors. Based on the research results, the authors propose several recommendations to improve the financial performance of enterprises.

The objective of the current study is to examine the role of Industry 4.0 in supply chain sustainability (SCS). To examine the effect of Industry 4.0 on SCS, the big data technology is considered. As the supply chain process requires a significant data handling system among the companies, however, companies are lacking in this area. Therefore, the relationship between data storage, data transformation, data utilization, order management and SCS were examined. Data was collected from the rubber industry. For the purpose of data collection, questionnaires were used, and data were collected from the rubber companies of Indonesia. Results of this study shows that Industry 4.0 has a vital role in SCS. Implementation of Industry 4.0 among the rubber companies shows a positive effect on SCS. Particularly, the applications of big data technology have a vital role in order management and SCS. Big data technology has a significant positive effect on SCS. Big data technology has a positive role to promote order management which further influences positively on SCS.

The aim linked with the present article is to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibilities and board diversity on the earning management of the Jordanian listed firms. The top twelve trading listed firms have been selected from the Jordan stock exchange and data has been extracted from 2011 to 2020. The robust standard error along with the generalized method of moment (GMM) has been used for the analysis purpose. The results indicated that corporate social responsibilities and board diversity have a positive association with earning management of the Jordanian firm. These findings are suitable for the regulators while formulating policies on the corporate social responsibilities and earning management of the firm. These findings have guided the policymakers that they should enhance their focus on the corporate social responsibilities that enhance the earning management of the company. This study is also helpful for the new researcher while investigating this area in the future.

This study came with the aim of identifying the impact of the green supply chain on sustainability. This research targeted managers at the senior and middle levels of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Jordan, as they were formulating the company's strategies and determining its policies. A purposive sample consisting of 258 managers was selected. To gather the data needed for the analysis, a self-report questionnaire was used formulated electronically through Google Forms. AMOS software was used to examine the research hypotheses. The study concluded that there was an impact of the green supply chain with its dimensions (Eco-Design, Green Distribution, Green Purchasing, Green Manufacturing, and Green Reverse Logistics) on sustainability. Based on this result, the researcher recommends pharmaceutical companies in Jordan to take green initiatives and the trends towards implementing a green supply chain approach that reduces the consumption of non-renewable resources and waste, and to establish special laws and regulations in the company that oblige employees to apply the green approach in their practices within the work.

The aim of this study is to identify the effect of supply chain resilience as measured by supply chain flexibility, supply chain collaboration, and supply chain agility on supply chain performance. A sample consisting of employees from chemical industrial companies in Jordan was selected to collect data using an electronic questionnaire. Analyzing data via SmartPLS 3.0, the results showed that supply chain collaboration and supply chain agility as key dimensions of supply chain resilience had significant effects on supply chain performance, while supply chain flexibility exerted insignificant effect on supply chain performance. Therefore, managers are recommended to improve their firms’ abilities to carry out effective work with partners and to enhance firms’ abilities to respond quickly to unpredictable changes. Scholars are also requested to conduct further studies such as investigating the effect of supply chain redundancy on supply chain performance.
