This research is to examine the role of management of foreign direct investment and control of corruption in economic growth. The research data were collected from the ASEAN-6 countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, and Vietnam during the period of 2002-2021. The research utilizes the panel vector autoregressive (PVAR) method developed by Abrrigo and Love (2015) [Abrigo, M. R. M., & Love, I. (2016). Estimation of panel vector autoregression in Stata.] to estimate the research model. The estimation results show that foreign direct investment and corruption control play an important role in promoting economic growth in the ASEAN-6 countries. Furthermore, foreign direct investment and corruption control are closely related to each other, indicating that economic growth is not only directly affected by foreign direct investment and corruption control but also indirectly influenced by each of these factors. This is a new finding of this research compared to previous studies. These findings provide significant empirical evidence for the ASEAN-6 countries, particularly in managing foreign direct investment and controlling corruption to promote economic growth. The implication of these results is that these countries identify appropriate policies to manage FDI and corruption control in order to maximize the level of economic growth.

This study aims to evaluate the roles of Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) and institutions, as drivers of green entrepreneurship and sustainable development goals (SDGs). A systematic and holistic integrated approach was used in encouraging the developmental processes, with both primary and secondary data qualitatively and quantitatively utilized. Mixed methods were also used through two phases, namely exploratory and explanatory design. The results showed that the role of GESI and community institutions encouraged the improvement of green entrepreneurship, whose role was one of the win-win solutions in mitigating the impact of global climate change and encouraging the achievement of the SDGs. Based on the limitations, the awareness of every individual was globally required on the importance of entrepreneurial trends. These results are expected to increase the knowledge and understanding of green entrepreneurship importance, as an alternative to contemporary global business.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of institutions and macroeconomic factors on the capitalization of securities in East Asian and Pacific countries (EAP). A balanced panel data is used to collect time-series from 2008 to 2018 in 11 EAP countries and to analyze the impacts of institutions, macroeconomics and stock market capitalization by the general moment method (GMM). Instead of measuring in detail each aspect of the institution as in previous studies, the six institutional aspects as defined by Kaufmann et al. (2011) [Kaufmann, D., Kraay, A., & Mastruzzi, M. (2011). The worldwide governance indicators: methodology and analytical issues. Hague Journal on the Rule of Law, 3(2), 220-246.] were calculated into one institutional variable. The institutional variables in this article were measured to ensure a more logical and consistent way of institutional influence on stock capitalization. The results indicate that, the institutions and macroeconomic factors were significant in forecasting the stock market capitalization size. Institutional, economic growth and savings had positive effects, macroeconomic factors such as inflation and high interest rates had a negative impact on stock capitalization in EAP countries. The institutions and macroeconomic factors had a significant impact on stock capitalization in EAP countries, the majority of developed markets had better institutions, better control of inflation and interest rates, and most undeveloped markets had higher economic growth and domestic savings.
