Agriculture is an industry with potential and advantages for development, but it is increasingly difficult to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) flows. Up to now, the results of attracting FDI inflows into the agricultural sector have many limitations, not really reaching the industry’s potential. This study will assess the current situation of attracting foreign direct investments into the agricultural sector in Vietnam in terms of FDI capital scale, FDI capital structure based on agriculture standard, investment method, investment partners and by investment recipients. The Red River Delta is one of the two Vietnamese economic regions with highly agricultural production. With the tradition of agricultural production and many favorable natural, economic and social conditions, the Red River Delta can further develop into a major agricultural production area of the country, contributing to economic development of the region and the whole country. However, FDI investment in agriculture in the region is modest compared to the potential of the industry as well as compared to other sectors in the region. While FDI inflow into Vietnam and other sectors in the region tends to increase strongly, FDI into agriculture is very low and has not grown for a long time, which is contrary to the trend of FDI to other sectors of the Red River Delta as well as the whole country and also contrary to the FDI flows to global agriculture.

This research aims to study the effect of the human resources cycle in improving the effectiveness of the accounting information system in Jordanian banks by measuring the effect of the number of employees, total training expenditures, the total of salaries and rewarding workers and the total expenditures of workers in Jordanian banks on improving the effectiveness of the accounting information system in Jordanian banks through the net profit after tax deduction for the years from 2010 to 2019. The results of the study indicate that there is a statistically significant effect at the level of confidence of 5% for the number of employees, total training expenditures, and total employee expenditures on improving the effectiveness of the information system in Jordanian banks and the absence of a statistically significant relationship to the effect of total salaries and remunerations of workers, as the parameter was -5.934. The study recommended measuring the effect of the human resources cycle in improving the effectiveness of the information system in Jordanian banks in terms of liquidity and solvency, and in other business sectors.

The aim of the article is to study the theoretical foundations and develop methodological, methodological and organizational approaches to management accounting in state institutions of higher education in Ukraine in the conditions of sustainable development goals implementation. Authors in the article suggest the distribution of activities, as well as the types of productive products of mentioned entities within them. A new concept of the planned cluster of management accounting in state institutions of higher education has been suggested for the development of budget planning. In the context of accounting cluster formation the model of coding of analytical accounts on the expenses accounts is offered, and also correlation of the last and codes of economic classification of expenses, a managerial reporting package is recommended for application. Within the control and analytical management accounting clusters of state institutions of higher education the adaptation of the general procedure of responsibility centers assessment is motivated, the composition of performance indicators is specified and the updated nomenclature of performance indicators is formed. In order to monitor the level of introduction of management accounting in the practice of state institutions of higher education, a model is formed, which is based on the calculation of an integrated indicator of the level of implementation of the latter; approbation of the developed model on the example of state institutions of higher education in Zhytomyr allowed to determine the leader who showed high results, leading the list of the latter.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of auditors regarding their responsibilities and potential liabilities to third parties in the case of failure to detect fraud/material misstatements and report the findings to the appropriate party. The study proposes that auditors’ perception of their own responsibilities will depend on the level of litigation threat expected by the auditor based on his or her position in the audit firm. The questionnaire was sent to the big 4 audit firms, the global audit firms other than the big 4, and to 189 different sized local audit firms registered with the Saudi Organization of Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA). The findings of this study revealed significant variations among auditors with regards to their perceptions of their own responsibilities and liabilities to financial statements’ users affected by their expected level of exposure to litigation risk.

Analyzing the effects of Internal Factors, Local Government Interventions, External Factors and Policies of Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority on Profitability with External Factors as Moderating Variables at Regional Development Banks in Indonesia. Sample this research is a Regional Development Bank of 24 Banks with research data from 2010 to 2018. A total of 24 Regional Development Banks throughout Indonesia were sampled from 2010 to 2018, so the observation data in this study includes 216 research data and there are 80 outlier data so that the data processed in this study with 136 data processed in the study. Analysis of the data in this study used Structural Equation Modeling with Warp PLS Program and internal actors gave a significant influence on profitability, Intervenes local government gave insignificant influence on profitability, External actors gave a significant influence on profitability, policy Bank Indonesia and financial services authority gave insignificant influence on profitability, Policy Bank Indonesia and financial services authority gave a positive and insignificant influence on profitability with external factors as moderation at the Regional Development Bank in Indonesia.

The Indian automobile sector is the biggest market and emerging by displacing some advanced countries. The Indian automobile sector contributes positively and progressively to the growth and development of the Indian economy. The study is based on secondary data and considers the financial statements available on concerned websites. Ratio analysis, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), CV (Coefficient of Variation), and rank correlation applied to analyze the data extracted from the financial statements of leading Indian automobile companies. The study reveals that there is a significant difference in the profitability of the Leading Indian automobile companies for the period 2011 to 2020. There is a moderate positive relational relationship between PBDIT(Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, and Tax) ratio and PBIT(Profit Before Interest and Tax) ratio and their variability while PBT ( Profit Before Tax) ratio and PAT ( Profit After Tax) ratio and their variability positively and highly correlated. This reveals that manufacturing expenses and depreciation do not affect profitability while profitability governs the interest and taxes of the leading Indian automobile companies. The study suggests a possible reduction in all direct and indirect costs, optimum cost of capital, or low cost of capital structure can be considered to avoid excessive burden against the profits of the negative performing leading Indian automobile sector companies.

The article explores the impact of factors in the legal environment on the application of the entire international financial reporting standards for small and medium-sized enterprises. Legal environmental factors include the legal system, the influence of the state role, professional associations and tax regulations. The author adopted the survey of 80 managers and 80 auditors to find out if there is any difference between the financial reporters and the financial reporting auditors on the impact of the legal environment. Through T-Test with SPSS 26 software, the author found that the tax factor is highly appreciated for both managers and auditors, especially for managers. The auditors assessed that the entire application of IFRS would bring benefits more than the costs while the managers assessed that the costs would be more than the benefits. Through the survey results, the author suggests limiting the impact of tax on accounting and further improving the role of professional associations.

The study aimed to explore the relationship between corporate governance (i.e., tasks and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, disclosure and transparency, shareholders’ rights and fair treatment of shareholders, and audit and internal control) and bank performance. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to a sample consisting of managers of commercial banks in the northern region in Jordan. The study found a significant and positive relationship between corporate governance and bank performance. Particularly, the study pointed out two principles (i.e., tasks and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, and audit and internal control) were positively related to bank performance, while there were no significant relationships between the other two principles (i.e., disclosure and transparency as well as shareholders’ rights and fair treatment of shareholders). It was concluded that corporate governance is very critical for enhancing bank performance. Additionally, commercial banks should pay more attention to all principles of corporate governance.

The study aims to find out the relationship between Supply Chain Performance (SCP), profitability, and liquidity of selected leading Indian pharmaceutical companies. The study is based upon the secondary data available on the website of the concerned Indian pharmaceutical companies. The SCP defines the operational velocity and is measured by the manufacturing efficiency (inventory days), ability of recovery from the debtors (accounts receivables days), and payment to creditors (account payables days). Profitability is the relative measurement of the earning capacity of the business organization and facilitates the comparison among the business organization of similar industries. The liquidity in a business organization refers to the state of pay ability of the short term liabilities in ordinary business activities. Profitability and liquidity are the bi-polar concepts in the business organization. There is an optimum balance between liquidity and profitability is expected for the growth and development of the business organization. Ratio analysis is to be used to analyze the SCP, profitability, and liquidity while Karl Pearson’s correlation and Spearman’s rank correlation applied to get the correlation between SCP, profitability, and liquidity of the companies, and relative relationship between a correlation of profitability and profitability to liquidity ratio of all selected companies. It is observed that there is moderate relationship gross profitability, profitability on the owner’s fund, and liquidity. But there is a negligible relationship between liquidity and return on total resources or profitability on total assets. The Indian pharmaceutical companies with higher profitability are much sensitive about the co-movement of profitability and liquidity. The SCP of the Indian pharmaceutical companies negatively and positively but negligibly affects the profitability and liquidity of the Indian pharmaceutical companies.

This work estimates the relationship between the economic expectations given by Tobin's q variables, terms of exchange and 3-month economic expectations with private gross investment for the period from the first quarter of 2010 to the first quarter of 2020, under the stress scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through an econometric model, results were obtained such as that the variation in private gross investment VIBP has an inertial behavior with a coefficient of 0.258791, shadow cost of capital or q of Tobin QTC with a coefficient of -0.03213, as well as terms of TI exchange with a coefficient of 0.805618. This indicates that the private investment decision by the companies analyzed depends on factors such as economic expectations, the inertial effect of investment and the shadow cost of capital expressed in Tobin's q.
