The effectiveness of the E-CRM system was examined in this study, involving those with online shopping experience, specifically the regular customers of Carrefour in Jordan. Data were obtained through 550 distributed sets of questionnaires. Four trained and certified research assistants assisted the data gathering process. Data from 320 returned questionnaires were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). System quality, access to information, security, training and customer satisfaction were the examined factors towards the effectiveness of E-CRM systems. Results show positive impact of security, system quality, training, and access to information on user satisfaction, and user satisfaction affected the effectiveness of E-CRM. Nonetheless, the relationship between training and effectiveness of E-CRM on online shopping was not mediated by user satisfaction.

Companies seek to adopt competitive strategies that achieve sustainability standards, not only in achieving economic success but also in serving society and preserving the environment at the same time. Pharmaceutical companies and their supply chains are facing increasing pressure to preserve the environment because of the problems caused by medical waste, and it is necessary to show their role through their strategies in preserving the environment and serving society as well. This study aims to investigate the relationship between sustainable supply chain strategies and supply chain collaboration and its effect on competitive priorities. The study investigates whether Jordanian Pharmaceutical companies incorporate the sustainability strategy into supply chain strategy, and whether that may impact its competitive priorities. The study population consists of (23) Jordanian Pharmaceutical companies. A structured questionnaire is designed and distributed among top managers in the surveyed companies. A Structural Equation Modeling technique is used to analysis the data and provide the results. Analysis proves the relationship between sustainable supply chain strategies and supply chain collaboration, where companies are interested in attaining some achievements in the area of social and environmental to gain some collaborative strategies with their partners in the supply chain. The study suggests that organizations may adopt the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework to evaluate their performance in a broader perspective and extend the collaboration with suppliers and customers through information sharing along the supply chain partners.

The enablers of Big Data Analytics (BDA) on the BDA adoption intention of consumer goods’ retailing firms were measured in this study along with innovation culture as a moderator. Based on a literature review, six BDA adoption intention enablers: financial readiness, perceived advantages, top management support, IT infrastructure, technology sophistication, and data quality were identified. The study collected data from different levels of managers in the consumer goods’ retailing sector in Jordan to test the proposed study framework. To obtain primary data, a quantitative method was used, and a survey (structured questionnaire) was conducted. SmartPLS version 3.3 was used to analyze and test the proposed study model, which included 211 respondents. Three BDA enablers, including perceived advantages, top management support, and IT infrastructure, were found to have a statistically significant effect on BDA adoption intention in their supply chain operations. Furthermore, the relationship between financial readiness and BDA adoption intention was significantly moderated by innovation culture. This research model can be used to determine the challenges and enablers to BDA adoption in supply chain operations for both developed and developing countries. Future research may replicate the model in various sectors or the same sector in different countries.

Adopting the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, this study aims at investigating the impact of big data (volume, velocity, variety, veracity, and value) on supply chain performance through the mediating role of supply chain management (plan, source, make, deliver, and return) assuming four hypotheses. Data were collected using a questionnaire from managers of food processing companies. The results showed that big data affected supply chain management significantly and positively, which in turn affected supply chain performance significantly and positively. In addition, big data exerted a significant and positive impact on supply chain performance. Based on these links, it was found that supply chain management mediated significantly the effect of big data on supply chain performance. The study contributes to the literature showing that big data plays a pivotal role in improving supply chain performance and supply chain performance from the SCOR model perspective is critical for the relationship between these two constructs.

The aim of this research is to examine the impact of supply chain management through social media on competitiveness of the private hospitals in Jordan. The population of the study includes managers in various administrative disciplines. Therefore, the complete census method was used in this research to collect the primary data, where the total responses were 438 responses were used for analysis. The questionnaire was used as a basic instrument in the current research, as it was designed electronically through Google Forms and sent to the research sample via email. AMOS software was used to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that all dimensions of supply chain management through social media had a positive impact on competitiveness; the greatest effect was for strategic relations with suppliers. Based on the study results; managers at the examined companies should enhance their usage of social media with suppliers, according to the report, in order to support strategic connections with them.

This study examines the success drivers of Supply Chain Performance (SCP). This study aims to examine the interrelationships among various proposed success drivers of SCP that were analyzed individually or collectively in some previous studies. Four proposed forces have been identified in this study including organizational culture, SC relationships, SC integration, and SC innovation. SC integration is seen as a mediating factor between SC relationships and SCP. Using a deductive and quantitative approach that is based on collecting data from (17) companies in the field of logistics using an online survey, the study focuses on four success drivers including organizational culture, SC innovation, SC relationships, and SC integration. Smart PLS 3 software was applied to analyze the data based on the use of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings confirm that organizational culture and SC innovation have a direct significant impact on SCP. Regarding the mediating role of SC integration, the finds confirmed that SC integration mediates the relationship between SC relationships and SCP. A set of implications and recommendations for decision-makers and researchers are proposed based on the empirical findings of the current study. SC managers must first consider organizational culture and try to create positive supportive cultural attributes. A culture that encourages openness to change, sharing of knowledge, and collaboration seems a necessity to further improve SCP. Additionally, as the study findings emphasized the significant impact of SC innovation, SC managers should encourage innovative initiatives and behavior.

The importance of E-procurement is significant for the development of nations. Findings of previous studies in terms of predictors and consequences of using E-procurement are inconsistent and most prior literature were conducted in developed countries. The purpose of this study is to examine the predictors and consequences of using e-procurement. Based on resource-based view (RBV) and Technology-Organization-Environment framework (TOE), the study proposed that technological (relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity) and organizational factor (top management support, organizational readiness, and Information System (IS) committee) will have significant effect on e-procurement which in turn expected to affect the firm performance. Competitive pressure is proposed as a moderating variable between technological and organizational factors, and e-procurement. The population of the study includes large companies in Jordan. Purposive sampling was deployed to collect the data using a questionnaire. The findings were derived from 221 responses. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS. The findings showed that technological (relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity) and organizational (top management support and organizational readiness) have significant effect on e-procurement which in turn affected firm performance. Competitive pressure did not moderate the effect of technological and organizational factors on e-procurement. The findings help the policy makers in Jordan to increase the usage of e-procumbent and firm performance by focusing on the benefits and reducing the complexity of using a new technology.

Innovation is an important variable, and it has received less attention. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of innovation on customer satisfaction. The study also examines the business performance as a mediator between innovation and customer satisfaction. The study collected data using a questionnaire. A total of 387 responses were collected and analyzed using AMOS. The findings show that innovation positively affected customer satisfaction and business performance. Business performance affected customer satisfaction. Business performance also mediated the effect of innovation on customer satisfaction. Decision makers in the banking industry are suggested to increase the level of innovation to improve the business performance and customer satisfaction.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of customer satisfaction and customer delight on customer loyalty through customer retention. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed based on the literature and administered to a sample of restaurant customers consisting of 376 customers. Using IBM SPSS and AMOS software for data analyses, the results indicate that customer retention had a perfect mediating role in the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and a partial mediating role in the effect of customer delight on customer loyalty. The study provided several contributions. A key contribution to researchers is that the effect of customer satisfaction on other variables, particularly customer loyalty should be assessed in terms of its direct and indirect effects. A basic contribution to managers is that both satisfied and delighted customers have potential intentions to defect, hence, retaining customers is a crucial step to ensure loyalty. Delighted customers are more likely to be retained and retained customers are ready to be loyal customers.

This study develops a research framework to study the impact of green supply chains with three dimensions, namely green purchasing, green manufacturing, and green marketing to achieve competitive advantage with the existence of organizational ambidexterity as a mediating variable in Jordanian industrial companies. The study targeted the most important Jordanian industrial companies, which included 46 industrial companies out of 66 companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange. The researchers personally administered 181 questionnaires, responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and the appropriate statistical methods were chosen to test the hypotheses of the study and reach its results. The findings indicate that all elements of green supply chain management, namely green purchasing, green manufacturing, and green marketing had a significant impact on competitive advantage. Also, green manufacturing and green marketing had a significant effect on organizational ambidexterity, but there was no significant impact for green purchasing on organizational ambidexterity, finally, the results of the study showed that organizational ambidexterity plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between green manufacturing, green marketing, and competitive advantage.
