These days, There are several applications where we face with large data set and it has become an important part of common resources in different scientific areas. In fact, there are many applications where there are literally huge amount of information handled either in terabyte or in petabyte. Many scientists apply huge amount of data distributed geographically around the world through advanced computing systems. The huge volume data and calculations have created new problems in accessing, processing and distribution of data. The challenges of data management infrastructure have become very difficult under a large amount of data, different geographical spaces, and complicated involved calculations. Data Grid is a remedy to all mentioned problems. In this paper, a new method of dynamic optimal data replication in data grid is introduced where it reduces the total job execution time and increases the locality in accessibilities by detecting and impacting the factors influencing the data replication. Proposed method is composed of two main phases. During the first phase is the phase of file application and replication operation. In this phase, we evaluate three factors influencing the data replication and determine whether the requested file can be replicated or it can be used from distance. In the second phase or the replacement phase, the proposed method investigates whether there is enough space in the destination to store the requested file or not. In this phase, the proposed method also chooses a replica with the lowest value for deletion by considering three replica factors to increase the performance of system. The results of simulation also indicate the improved performance of our proposed method compared with other replication methods represented in the simulator Optorsim.

Insurance industry includes a significant part of economy and it is important to learn more about the capabilities of different firms, which are active in this industry. In this paper, we present an empirical study to rank the insurance firms using analytical hierarchy process as well as factor analysis. The study considers four criteria including capital adequacy, quality of earning, quality of cash flow and quality of firms’ assets. The results of the implementation of factor analysis (FA) have been verified using Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO=0.573) and Bartlett & apos; s Chi-Square (443.267 P-value=0.000) tests. According to the results FA, the first important factor, capital adequacy, represents 21.557% of total variance, the second factor, quality of income, represents 20.958% of total variance. In addition, the third factor, quality of cash flow, represents 19.417% of total variance and the last factor, quality of assets, represents 18.641% of total variance. The study has also used analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to rank insurance firms. The results of our survey indicate that capital adequacy (0.559) is accounted as the most important factor followed by quality of income (0.235), quality of cash flow (0.144) and quality of assets (0.061). The results of AHP are consistent with the results of FA, which somewhat validates the overall study.

Physical education is one of the most important parts of schoolchildren studies and it could influence of social and academic performance of children, significantly. This paper studies physical education among schoolchildren who attend elementary schools in city of Esfahan, Iran over for the educational calendar of 2010-2011. The study selects 52 schools as sample, 18 non-for-profit and 34 governmental schools and half of them belong to female students. The results of this study indicate that physical education has a somewhat better quality in non-for-profit educational system compared with governmental ones although this difference is not statistically significance (P & LT; 0.05). In our survey, ten percent of time, physical education was performed poorly, twenty five percent was in average condition, forty eight percent was in good condition and seventeen percent was in excellent condition.

Precision in earning report has always been a concern among investors, and when there are some negative adjustments on earning, investor may find it challenging to decide whether they should hold or sell their shares. This paper studies the impact of earning precision and unexpected earning adjustments on firms whose share are listed on Tehran Stock Exchange. The proposed study of this paper considers three hypotheses including whether earning precision has negative relationship with unexpected profit, whether it has a negative with unexpected decline in profit and finally, whether, in prediction on negative news compared with positive news, there is a negative relationship between stronger earnings forecast and precision of earning forecast. The study gathers the necessary data from official news released for some firms whose shares were active over the period 2003-2012. The study uses two regression models and the results of regression analysis have confirmed all hypotheses of this survey.

Organizational intelligence (OI) plays an important role on creating competitive strategy. This paper measure the effect of OI differentiation through value chain of organizational activities. The proposed study is applied in companies, which are active in the field of producing powder coating. Literature and background of research was reviewed to compile theoretical framework of the research model and after conducting library studies and performing exploratory interviews, important factors influencing OI on various sectors of the organization were extracted. In the same direction, these components were assessed through survey research and questionnaire tool. The proposed study uses structural equation modeling is implemented to study the effects of various factors and the validity of relationship among components was confirmed through a conceptual model.

Performance measurement plays an important role on media organizations and there are literally many methods for measuring the performance of an organization. European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM) is one of the most popular methods for measuring performance of organizations. In this paper, we perform an empirical survey to customize this method for broadcasting organization of Iran. The proposed model of this paper designs a questionnaire and distributes among 3000 employees of the Iranian broadcasting organization. We have analyzed and assigned some points to different criteria and realized that standard EFQM can be considered as a customized method for taking appropriate strategies in this organization.

Many wireless sensor network applications require data gathering as the most important parts of their operations. There are increasing demands for innovative methods to improve energy efficiency and to prolong the network lifetime. Clustering is considered as an efficient topology control methods in wireless sensor networks, which can increase network scalability and lifetime. This paper presents a method, IP2P K-means – Improved P2P K-means, which uses efficient leveling in clustering approach, reduces false labeling and restricts the necessary communication among various sensors, which obviously saves more energy. The proposed method is examined in Network Simulator Ver.2 (NS2) and the preliminary results show that the algorithm works effectively and relatively more precisely.

Productivity is a primary objective of increasing competition in modern economy and any increase in productivity level helps development of organization in the competitive market. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between operating leverage, financial leverage, compound leverage as independent variables and productivity indices including labor and capital productivities as dependent variables. The study includes 102 companies accepted in Tehran Stock Market based on screening, systematic deletion, over the period 2005-2010. The required data are gathered through official financial statements, committee reports, and other available documents in Tehran Stock Market. Stepwise regression and Pearson correlation are used to analyze the data. The results of the study have indicated that there were significant relationships between independent variables including leverage ratios with labor productivity. In addition, there is also a significance relationship between leverage ratios with capital productivity of total assets.

Dividend plays an important role on changing profitability in any business units including banking industry. In this paper, we present an empirical survey to study the effect of asymmetric information and growth opportunities on dividend policies among some private banks in Iran. The proposed study of this paper gathers the necessary information from all private banks whose shares are listed in Tehran Stock Exchange over the period 2005-2011. The study uses regression analysis to study the effects of various factors where dividend distribution policy is considered as a function of four independent variables namely spread, bank size, growth opportunity and cash flow. The results of the survey indicate that there are some positive and meaningful relationships between growth opportunity and dividend pay (0.003308), between bank size and dividend pay (0.019497) and between bank size and dividend pay (0.168821).

Learning is of the most challenging issues in most organizations and lack it could create serious problems for business development. In this paper, we present an empirical study to investigate the relationship between organizational structure and learning characteristics in a case study of revenue agency located in province of Alborz, Iran. Organizational structure includes five components of complexity, concentration, authority, formality and flexibility. A learning organization also includes five components including conceptual model, team learning, common goals, systematic vision and individual capabilities. There are 400 employees for the case study of our proposed study and we choose 196 people as a sample number. The proposed study of this paper uses structural equation modeling to survey the data using LIREL and SPSS software packages. Based on the results of this survey, we have concluded that there are some meaningful relationships between three variables of formality, complexity and authority on one side and learning capability from the other side. However, our study did not find any meaningful relationship between concentration and flexibility with organizational learning capability.
