This study aims to examine the factors affecting Jordanian Islamic banks’ customers’ adoption of electronic banks. The study relied on quantitative methods, where the study designed a questionnaire based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which derived from the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). The study sample consisted of 470 respondents. The study applied the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), where the results of the Chi-square test and the standardized root mean square residual (SRMR) test showed the validity of the model for analysis. The results showed that usefulness, privacy, and awareness affect the adoption of e-banking, and that ease to use and electronic skills affect the adoption of e-banking through usefulness. The results also show that Infrastructure does not affect the adoption of e-banking, and Convenience does not affect the adoption of e-banking through Intention to use e-banking. The study advises Islamic banks to spread awareness about the importance of electronic banking and design easy-to-use electronic services that enjoy privacy and security.

The current study aims to determine the factors influencing the intention to employ digital libraries among postgraduate students in Jordanian universities. The data were gathered through questionnaires in the format of Google Forms. The questionnaires were distributed to postgraduate students enrolled in Jordanian universities with digital libraries, who were recruited via purposive sampling. A total of 261 responses were received, with 67 deemed unsuitable for the study analysis and subsequently excluded. Resultantly, 194 valid questionnaires were finalized for data analysis. The SMART-partial least squares (PLS) software was utilized to conduct structural equation modelling (SEM) to test the study hypotheses. This study discovered that the variables, namely performance expectancy, effort, and facilitating conditions expectancy, were significantly and positively associated with the outcome variable, which is the intention to employ digital libraries. Meanwhile, social influence was revealed to be insignificant. Performance expectancy also significantly mediated the correlations between technological readiness and the intention to utilize and between online self-efficacy and the intention to utilize. The present study focused only on potential users among postgraduate students at Jordanian universities with digital libraries. The findings contributed valuable insights into the academic sector, especially library management to enhance the rate of digital library or e-library adoption at Jordanian universities. Digital library managers and policymakers could leverage the findings to design pertinent strategies that increase user engagement within digital library environments. The UTAUT model was demonstrated to be capable of predicting users’ intentions of employing digital libraries and corroborated the mediation role of performance expectancy on the associations between technological readiness and the intention to utilize and between online self-efficacy and the intention to use.

This quantitative study examined the relationships between privacy, trust and level of service quality, and customer satisfaction. Jordanian firm employees involved in CRM technology were the study samples. Data from 620 completed questionnaires were analyzed utilizing AMOS software version 23. The study hypotheses were tested through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The causal relationships among the study’s main variables were examined as well. Results showed a positive impact of trust, privacy, and level of service quality on customer satisfaction. Managers and practitioners could pursue this study results in their CRM systems implementation. Additionally, the relations between privacy, trust and level of service quality, and customer satisfaction could be examined further as these relations in CRM systems have not been adequately examined, especially in emergent industries of developing countries.

With the rapid advancement of blockchain technology, SMEs face an opportunity to leverage decentralized ledger systems to address longstanding challenges related to financial transparency. This study aims to assess the implications of blockchain adoption for SMEs operating in the Jordanian context, focusing on its potential to improve accountability, trust, and efficiency in financial operations. Drawing on quantitative research methods, this paper examines the current state of financial transparency using a structural equation modeling approach of 215 surveys. The findings indicated that there is a positive impact of block-chain technology on enhancing financial transparency. The findings of this research contribute to both academic understanding and practical implications for policymakers, regulators, and SMEs in Jordan seeking to enhance financial transparency through blockchain technology. By shedding light on the positive impact of blockchain on financial transparency in the Jordanian SME sector, this paper aims to inform strategic decision-making and stimulate further research in this emerging field. Ultimately, it underscores the transformative potential of block-chain technology in promoting accountability, trust, and eco-nomic development among SMEs in Jordan and beyond.

The paper presents a fresh empirical approach for clarifying the impact of Jordan's most prevalent forms of ownership on the link between the “fair value (FV)” model share of assets and auditing costs. Using information gathered from 105 Jordanian financial listed companies spanning 2005 to 2018, ordinary least squares regression is applied in this paper. While financial institution ownership variables cause the opposite to be observed, family ownership decreases the link among the share of assets at FV and audit expenses. Family ownership results in decreased auditing costs paid only for “Level 1” assets; conversely, the extremely uncertain FV assets “Level 2 & 3” show the opposite. Financial institutional ownership demonstrates that auditing FV Level 1 leads to higher auditing costs. When relating FV Levels 2 and 3, the moderating effect of financial institutional ownership was significantly negative. No significant moderating effect of government ownership is confirmed. The inconclusive and limited empirical explanation of audit costs resulting from the FV model from a Western setting motivates our investigation. This study is considered as a unique study as it takes into account the most prevalent types of ownership in the Jordanian context in the FV studies reviewing auditees in Jordan. New evidence is generated by documenting audit characteristics of Jordan, a developing country, and its institutional environment and compliance with the FV model. The results are useful to regulators and policymakers in regulating the auditing profession and resolving FV audit-related conflicts and issues.

The present research investigates the use of omnichannel retailing and its influence on the Jordanian market, focusing on four important dimensions: integration, fulfilment, usability, and seamlessness. This study attempts to answer how strategies of omnichannel affect purchase-decisions and satisfaction of customers among students at private universities in Jordan as expectations for integrated purchase experiences that combine physical and digital channels continue to rise. Using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), this study empirically examines the relationships between various dimensions of omnichannel retailing and consumer decision-making. The findings reveal that strong integration across sales channels, fast delivery options, simple interfaces, and seamless transitions significantly enhance consumer decision-making. This underscores the importance of robust infrastructure facilities, dependable information availability options, flexible fulfillment methods, user-friendly interface designs as well as a smooth customer support system which all together make for a great shopping experience. Thus, local retailers are given clear recommendations to invest in current systems by diversifying their delivery alternatives, improving mobile platforms, and using data analytics to match marketing efforts. The main focus of this paper is effective merchandising practices that can help retailers connect with consumers effectively during changing market situations. Moreover, there are several lessons from this research for businesses operating under stiff competition but with the increasing needs of modern-day consumers.

The paper aimed to examine the impact of corporate governance on the financial performance of commercial banks in Jordan. The variables used to measure corporate governance were the board of directors' size, independent members of the board of directors, and the number of audit committee members, while those used to measure financial performance were return on investment, return on equity and earnings per share. The study used a quantitative approach based on the data of 12 commercial banks in Jordan during the period 2005-2022. The panel data were analyzed using the EViews software based on the ordinary least squares time series technique. The paper found the effect of all corporate governance variables on both return on investment and return on equity. However, it indicated that the board of directors' size and the independent members of the board of directors had an impact on earnings per share. This study highlighted corporate governance variables in one of the significant sectors of developing economies. Moreover, it recommended the need to review the principles used in selecting members of the audit committee for commercial banks in Jordan, due to their importance in developing long-term financial performance.

Human abilities are the primary factors that define the path of the corporation's improvement; these capabilities can be improved via training, experience, education, and innovation. Therefore, the current study delves into the impact of different leadership styles on marketing effectiveness and corporate financial performance through the role of corporate social responsibility as a mediator by utilizing a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to research 100 managers in 2023 in Jordanian banking sectors. The result of this study has shown a significant and positive relationship between leadership styles, marketing effectiveness, and financial performance. Furthermore, social responsibility, which is the mediator of the study, shows a significant role in the connection between leadership styles and marketing effectiveness as well as financial performance in banks. Minutely, this study found that transformational style promotes an innovation culture and inspires employees in the banking sector, in other words, this style of leadership emphasizes corporate social responsibility programs that support the bank and society's objectives.

The purpose of the present paper was to explore whether total quality management (TQM) mediated the influence of market orientation (MO) on organizational performance (OP). The study was conducted using a quantitative way of investigation with the help of the survey instrument as the primary tool for data collection. Firm ICT managers completed the survey, and the data collected was used to explore the pathways proposed. After having been collected, the data were screened using the SPSS 26 version, and the hypothesized correlations were tested using the same data. The results indicate that both MO and TQM had significant impacts on OP. Such a connection was also impacted by the implementation of TQM. The information and communication technology (ICT) industry is popular among developing countries and is considered as one of the most employers and tools that fasten economic progress. The results provide new insights into the relationships and impacts of MO and TQM on organizational performance to owners/managers, practitioners, and academicians in the ICT sector. The owners and managers can serve as the guidelines to make better decisions in implementing MO with TQM standards to outperform in all aspects and sustain market competition. The owners and managers are advised to develop better strategies to adopt MO and TQM plans into more effective and performance-oriented approaches. This study is the first to do empirical research on the connections between overall quality management, market orientation, and organizational performance in the ICT sector of an Arab developing country.

The purpose of this investigation was to establish the connection between ownership arrangement and valuation of the ability of a business to carry on. The investigation's goal is to clarify how various ownership forms affect how to assess a company's ability to remain in business. The listed firms at ASE throughout the year 2016–2022, according to this study of 65 covers the years 2016–2022, a dynamic panel system GMM estimation, had demonstrated a substantial degree of ownership structure in line with higher going concern awareness and implementation in Jordan. This study indicated that family ownership, foreign ownership, and block holder ownership were particularly important in affecting Jordan's going concern. This study explores the complex relationship between ownership forms and a company's ability to continue operating. In light of our findings, it is crucial for both practitioners and policymakers to adopt a thoughtful and nuanced approach when assessing the continued viability of businesses. This involves considering the unique ownership structures and governance mechanisms of each company.
